17:29 Sierra keeps emphasizing something "special" or "unique" for her wedding and all she's really saying is that everyone else's weddings are basic, placing herself on a higher mean girl pedestal. I like her fashion and aesthetic now but I miss the old her, she seems to be all about money and luxury now for the wrong reasons regardless if you have the money for it.

Venue is key. I am getting married abroad in a mountain in Lebanon lol so wanted to go for Tuscany/mediterranean vibes. Once I saw and booked our venue, everything else revolved around it. Lots of greenery, beautiful open space for sunset etc. Congrats and well done for touring early! I’m getting married Aug 2023 and only started planning last September

I just cannot be the only person that thinks her wanting to have a unique wedding is a bad excuse of simply not wanting to have it at that hotel because as she said, it's too basic for her. No problem there ofc but why not simply be yourself and honest with your soon to be husband. I'm not really good with english but even I can read her character.. Everything is not about the looks and money. And I'm not just talking about the wedding situation, weddings are a big deal but the whole point is to do it together and celebrate your love with people in the end. I've been watching Sierra since the beginning and I'm a bit dissapointed she didn't seem to have grown out of that materialistic personality at all..But I guess if she's happy great for her..to each their own

People are allowed to have a personal taste that isn't yours. They've both made it obvious in this vlog that privacy and seclusion is valued for the wedding, and they want to make it their own. A hotel is the last place they can guarantee that members of the public and guests won't see it all happening. There's nothing wrong with a private villa, winery or exclusive place if they can afford it, and value it as a couple making it a day for the people that they love. They seem to have taken into consideration fun and accommodation options for their guests as well.

In the video I noticed that she is kinda passively 'pushing' the narrative of them still looking for other options ( the villa being among her favorites) while Sam was counting on the hotel idea( which he obviously thought she's for it too). Just saying, you keep saying 'they both' but it doesn't look like an organic or mature agreement at all. It's not about the different tastes, it's how she acknowledges his opinion. Not just regarding the wedding. I do wish him and her a happy marriage full of mutual love and understanding, I hope this relationship will bring out only the best in her..

why don't you have small intimate wedding in Italy, rent a small villa boutique and cover the stay fee for your family for 2-3 nights - that way you get married at the hotel/villa in italy, have the opportunity to make it unique. Then have a larger celebration at home with friends and more distant family ?:)
