Why am I crying? 😭 my dad was/is so shy he definitely wouldn’t have been able to speak at my wedding (and he has been married 4 times and now divorced so not a lot of love advice to give) but I am his only child and he’s always on my “side”.

I am getting married in October and there are many times that I refer back to your wedding playlist. Your wedding video moves me to tears every single time, especially during your fathers speech. As the months get closer to my wedding, I find myself very saddened because here I am, 21 years old, I’m going through the motions, planning my wedding, and getting married without either of my parents here on earth to spend it with me. I’ll always wish I had those mother/daughter getting ready experiences, or that father/daughter walk down the isle or the parents speeches and dances, but somehow I find so much comfort in watching those experiences coming so genuinely from the heart through other people.
