This was so adorable coming from a person who lives in St. Louis and also a mother of a child that was at St. Louis Children’s Hospital for a very long time that had to go through three major open-heart surgeries. It is so meaningful when people want to truly be understanding and helpful in anyway they can and for you to do this for somebody was just amazing I seen so many families at children’s that had to travel hours to get there. We were so grateful that we lived in this community that we were so close to children’s, but I seen families who had to leave their other children to go to the hospital hours away.

This was so beautiful! And I love that the beautiful baby fighting cancer was able to come play too! I didn’t think she’d be allowed out of isolation. When my sister had cancer we were teenagers so it was a little different, but we all had to be in isolation for a year, so it makes me so happy that there are people like you willing to go out of your way to make that difficult time just a little bit easier on the family going through it. So Sierra I get this was special circumstances but our kids typically allowed to take their shoes off in the playroom? I know they have to in the baby area but are they allowed to take their shoes off in the main play area?

Sure! The children can be in socks, shoes, or barefoot. I don’t mind 😊. Lots of kids take off there shoes at the door 😂

Also, again, coming from a mom who lives in St. Louis and like I said my children my daughter had to be at children’s for a very long time. She’s 18 years old now so she’s doing amazing. We have some issues here and there, but not many. We’re very grateful if you’re ever looking for volunteers to host something like this for a Ronald McDonald’s family I would love to do that if you are just maybe gonna have like an open play for just any family at Ronald McDonald that would be amazing because they’re a lot of families who don’t have immunity issues just they’re there so that would be so cool to have a big like bunch of them come out and play and like I said if you need volunteers, me and my daughter, both would be happy to do so do so.😊

Who's crying? Not me im not crying! 😂 This absolutely filled my heart! ❤ I am an adult now but when I was age 5½-7 yrs old I had a rare blood disorder where my blood did not clot. On top of that I needed my tonsils and adenoids out. Extremely risky for me. I wasn't able to play with other kids because of the risk. A very small cut could potentially be fatal. Me and my parents actually stayed at The Ronald McDonald house. Amazing place. The only thing that broke my heart was still not being able to play on the playground or with the other kids. So you doing this for that sweet family really hit close for me. I know how special and amazing those kiddos felt! The Ronald McDonald house is often overlooked so I hope this also raises awareness of what they do. Bless you for being a genuinely good person!❤❤

Because I think that kids that need to be there for like sickness or recovery are isolated so that way they can have a silent time there for sleeping and so that way kids don’t get even more germs (bad) piled onto the other bad germs

Hiw do you manage capacity with later/afternoon reservations? Like if a family makes a reservation for 12:30 for 2 kids for example. Do you keep that 2 spaces open all day since you dont have a limit on play time? Or do you just have to ask 2 kids to leave if you reach capacity and everyone stays until that time

We save the tabs off cans and take them to the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville TN where we live and they turn them in for money to use for the house and families
