Here on the other side of the Pond, there are "turkey bags" you can put a turkey in when roasting. They were designed to keep the juices in and they work! The result is much moister meat. Perhaps I'll have to pop a box in the post to you if you think you'd want it! All the best.

Those bags work very well!!! Made sure to have those bags.after a horribly dry turkey one year. The best tasting turkey I have eaten was cooked in a smoker. Any meat cooked in a smoker is just fantastic.

In Canada, from my earliest memory, we could not open our gift until after the first King then Queens message. As a child it was torture to wait . Her speech came on the radio at 10 am Well done braving the cold and rain

If you want a nice juicy turkey, use a cooking bag. Stuffing helps too, I put Italian sausage and apples in my bread stuffing. It cooks a lot faster in the bag too 👨‍🍳
