Sifiso Meyiwa on Teffo's withdrawal

Defence Advocate, Malesela Teffo, has quit the Senzo Meyiwa murder case.
This is due to what he claims is harassment by the judge and prosecutor.
Newzroom Afrika's Linda Mnisi caught up with Meyiwa's brother, Sifiso, for reaction to the news.

She was talking about her life struggles including indaba le eyokuthi she was scammed by some ladies at the shopping centre eMlazi ( I think). Teffo is ten times ahead of the state, this is why He keeps winning many cases against the state and police, He has made the state to admit that there is a second docket and most importantly forced them to concede that they won't prosecute the second docket against Kelly, and asked for the certificate of non prosecution so that He can prosecute privately, He will prosecute Kelly Khumalo using the second docket, note what He said yesterday, "I remain a watching brief on 374"... The state strongest evidence against the current accused is the confession from accused 1 and 2...but the key man in the whole case is actually accused number 3 whim they claim had a gun that shot Senzo, and He is refusing to confess, and yesterday Teffo wanted to put it on record that his clients have been put in apartheid like torture situation of solitary confinement, the same argument that He has been saying in court that the police used apartheid tactics against accused 1 and 2. In order for him to prosecute Kelly Khumalo He has to quit from the current case and prosecute privately, mark my words we are in for a treat

But if state manages to to prosecute accused number 1,2 or 3 for Senzoz murder no one can privately prosecute as a certicate of non resolution to the prosecution is required in an application for private prosecution. Hence legal practitioners like Teffo were adamant to prove the innocence of these guys in order to get the a chance to privately prosecute.

We don't know the in-depth reasons for him to withdraw from the trial, but from a layman point of view he didn't act in a professional manner throughout the proceedings. He came out as a weak advocate including his instructing attorney! He wants things to be done according to his terms instead of arguing his case convincingly. His credibility as a lawyer/ advocate has been dampened. But I still don't like Mshololos stance either, always in court to have the case postponed! Why??
