Thank you! Mine was the ground takedown with the staff. Took a good few tries because he would do a regular takedown instead. So I had a hunch this would be it. Like in the video: stand off to the side. I recommend student difficulty and Sanctuary. It's short, has regular and fat enemies close by and all weapons. There's a staff in the hotel room thingy upper floor next to the fat guy and one next to the second shrine in the small courtyard before the final big courtyard.

Finally got it. Last one was a staff ledge takedown. Easier to focus on the 4 fatties takedowns, running kick takedown & then takedowns with the staff weapons since they seem to be the most scarce.

When I saw the requirements for this one...I just thought oh ****. About an hour or so ago, after watching this video, I just decided to play through the game and enjoy it, since I had no clue which ones I still needed. On the tower, happened to have a bo staff and did a finisher one of the big fatties...and BOOM, trophy popped. That was a big sigh of relief, accompanied by a fist pump.

Still not quite sure what the requirement was. I don't know if you needed to do all 41 or just do a ledge/wall/ground/and stand takedown with all weapons. But the one that did it for me was the Bat/Ground takedown. Your video was a life saver! Would never have figured it out myself. Thx!

@@myst1132 the trophy requirement itself has never been clear. Some people claim they did not have to do all of them, others clakm different. At least one of each type must be done. I'd go for one of each type, including ground and running (last ones) and if it does not pop then do a few more of each type until it does

If you are new to playing this: just play the game and use every weapon you see, have fun! All I was missing, was the running takedown and I only just now wanted to get the achievement haha; didn't have to try. Play this for enjoyment and you'll get yours without realising it.

There’s ONLY 22… all “standing” takedowns count as one with different weapons (bare, bat, knife, and staff)… although slightly different animations play.

EDIT: I just confirmed. It does NOT count. I decided to play the story again and got the trophy after I did broom on Juggernaut standing (my last one). I had done this multiple times in arenas and didn’t get the trophy. So if anyone is out there trying it, arenas do not work. It has to be in the main story.

I'm sorry Gioele, the takedown animation is random so the only way to get it is to keep trying. Early on the squats level, you can try with the enemies you fight as you go upstairs

I actually think this trophy is impossible! Even when you try to do the take down you want it does something completely random. You have to be lucky to get this trophy it will come from keep on playing the game over and over again. This must be the hardest trophy on any game I have played. It’s ridiculous

It is random honestly :( What I usually do to have more chances is to hit an enemy until the structure is low, then use Environmental Mastery to thrown a seat and knock them down. This will give me a chance for a ground Takedown almost every time. Sadly, there is not fixed way to trigger it, just to create the circumstance and hope the RNG is in your favor.

You need to creat the situation, then using the takedown on different directions usually triggers different animations. I mean, if you need bat takedowns, you need to have a bat when performinf it, and then using the directional arrows (on the left side) will grant you the different type of takedowns. You do not need the 41, just one of each type though

Hi Jonathan. I understand the feeling, but sadly there is no way to tell the ones you already have. Usually some of the rarest are the las 2, so you can start with those and then do the rest.

no cheats, you can leave / restart but it is suggested to reach a checkpoint at least

Yes, If you see the 2 animations, he is not pushed towards a wall or touching a ledge.

Hi! Sadly no... There is no tracker or anything similar :/ You will need to try them all. I'd recommend you to start focusing on the ones that do not look familiar to you, specially the running one and the ground takedowns with weapons.

Why do all the online web guides say 22 but this says 41?

@@vincevirtua Because there are 41 different takedown animations. And the PSNProfiles guide, which I made, also includes information on all of them, so not all say 22.
