To be more accurate, he has the superpowers of retries and some weird time travel (the keys you find for shortcuts stay with you on retries, meaning there's some time bending shit). Basically, groundhog day superpowers are crazy op and broken lol

My guess is the endings are along the lines of: He DID kill all the bosses, but later regretted it (What actually happened). He came to terms with it, found inner peace (The second loop, with him looking back on his actions) , and starting teaching new students.

A sequel or some DLC's maybe?, Or the ability to free roam like absolver but with tons of enemies, a survival mode so many ideas. Slo clap good job you can now further the progress of this game. Slo clap did something that no game did based on martial arts movies made a perfected combat system to that of Absolvers. This is like the finished product, add free roam and you got me playing hours, add survival you got me playing hours.

That staff boss is the most frustrating boss I've had to deal with in this game. At some point in phase 2, his AI flips a switch and then starts to poke away and retreat and it was incredibly annoying to deal with.

Sean fights with a 3 strike combo, just hold L1 and keep moving away, after his 3 strikes then you can get some shots in. If you’re having trouble when he leg sweeps, once the staff goes behind his back he’s going to leg sweep. And he only does it at the start of his combos so be careful. Hope this helps 🙂

U can grab any of the many staves that line the sidewall of the first stage of this boss’s room, grabbing a fresh 1 before stage 2 starts and they disappear makes life a lot easier. Just having the range to catch some time of his dodges that bare fists can’t

The amount of times you had to dodge Sean during his 2nd phase is crazyyyy! He literally won't even let you get a hit in. I think the same goes for every boss as well. Tough game, and awesome video!👍🏿

The bosses are all pretty simple when you learn the pattern. Just duck 3 times then hit him. In the second phase if you’re not sure if he’s gonna leg sweep just hold L1 for a regular block. Then duck the rest of his combo and use the focus that ducking charges.

The surface of the five bosses corresponds to the five elements of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth. In the ending of martial arts, it also corresponds to the impermanence of benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, faith and impermanence. Of course, these five constants are what every boss has not done. They had a good vision, but they went astray because of it. The pharmacist corresponds to "benevolence". He obviously lacks "benevolence". Eight years ago, he did not hesitate to attack the young protagonist without any compassion. In the end, he became withdrawn and autistic, and had no martial arts skills. Martial arts masters correspond to "propriety", Sean is martial, has no respect for the weak, and constantly instills violence in his disciples. What he lacks is "property". The artist corresponds to "wisdom", and Kuroki has a twin sister, who later turned against each other for various reasons, and finally resorted to force to cause tragedy. What Kuroki lacks is that "wisdom" simply relies on force. The president corresponds to "righteousness". Jinfeng mouthed for the justice of the people, but he did such a big injustice as betraying the guardian and destroying the family. In the end, Yang corresponds to "Xin", he is the guardian of the amulet, but for the sake of his wife and daughter, he broke his promise and eventually fell into the wrong way. What Young fails to do is "integrity". Using martial arts to kill a person is easy, but it is difficult for people to realize where they are defeated. To be able to do this, to realize benevolence, righteousness, courtesy, wisdom and trust while practicing martial arts, is the real martial arts, and it is also what the game wants to show. Revenge is to get rid of one's own grievances, but to be virtuous, benevolent, righteous, courteous, wise and trustworthy, and to be able to get rid of all the grievances in death

Tbh, as I understand it, you literally reach some kind of Nirvana for your deeds, so in a cosmic sense good ending is actually good - because the reward of the eternal blessed afterlife is more important than some mortal things. But even if it's not true, scene after credits suggests that you are alive, if I understand it correctly. I theorize that it is because "the man behind your suffering", seeing your mercy, gave you the talisman back and returned you back to life.

Finally beat the 2nd boss, GEEZUS. First phase was easy when you time your parry/dodges…2nd phase he just doesn’t like to leave ANY windows. I had to just keep charging him, going all kit for about 3-4 2nd..doing my focus attack, and then just wait to die.

this is the kind of game that the devs made it hard intentionally to force the player to truly master the game's mechanics. Also its hard so to make the combat feel more satisfying and rewarding once you get the hang of it. @@zai5253 my advice if you really want to beat bosses is to memorize all their paterns. Also when you see an opening you only do an small combo and then you dash back before they counter-hit you. It's not an fast way to beat bosses but it makes you safe against counters when you keep you distance. Wait for them to HIT you so you can parry or dodge also as long you know an attack is coming so you can punish them each time.

Anyone notice the elemental symbolism in the fights? The Fighter (Fire) becomes more dangerous the lower his health (Fighting Fire with Fire burns down everything) The Artist (Water) is a boss of patience and waiting for an opening to strike (flowing one minute and crashes the next...be water)

In the end, they all died with their own weapons. Fajar sliced by his own machete, Sean crushed by his own staff, Kuroki stabbed by her own (Kunai? I don’t know the Chinese version), Jinfeng strangled by her own rope and weight, and Yang defeated by the move he used on the original sifu.

It has something to do with Wude (basically a sort of Martial Morality in which straying from the path of good will set you down the path of evil). The reason why you spare the enemies is to follow the path of virtue to avoid coming the very man that killed your father who followed the path of hatred.

The second boss is easy once you get his moves down. It's the third boss that's a real problem.

His second form seems a bit of a problem, keeps changing combos then drifts forth and back

@@Ghostlight256 He's faster and more aggressive, but the moves remain the same besides the new sweep he gets. If you can dodge the normal combos and counter attack, you can get a decent amount of damage. The sweep is a problem, but if you have the ground parry move unlocked you can always reduce the damage you take and counter attack immediately for free damage whenever he does it.
