It's a shame Sifu had to go with such a terrible "fighting" style for it's gameplay. All i can think of is the slapping guy form Sourth Park. The sound effects don't help.

@@qgvinh8614 Isn't it clear right there above you in plain English? The fighting style they based this entire game on (for the protagonist at least) Bak Mei, does not look good and is very boring. To top it off, the sound effects used for when hits connect are also very limp. This means that even though Sifu is a fun game to play from mechanical standpoint, you don't look very cool doing it. I am not one of those people who is annoying about "muh real effective fighting styles" in fictional media, i just care about what looks cool. There are plenty of questionable fighting styles i think look really cool in video games; this one is not one of them.

@@deathtoraiden2080 no it is in fact, not clear, it sounds like you're just hating the gameplay in general, and I personally don't think Pak Mei looks bad, this game is a huge homage to IP man, which is extremely popular in the East, and it looks cool, and Wing Chun is arguably less cool than Sifu's Pak Mei bc of the lack of kicks, yet people still love it, you're the first person I see that doesn't like Sifu's fighting style, so I'm just gonna say that I'm sorry your personal preferences doesn't align with Sifu's fighting style, there are always mods and modifiers in game to change to something more suited for you.
