Got one on the board right now. I'm going with a Saito 62 for power and a Futaba 8J for guidance. Should be perfect I like how you painted the wheels to match, shows you care. Happy landings! .

Great plane and nice flight. Well flown by the pilot. I have a similar version to the Sig Kadet Senior . Its called the Super Frontier Senior and i fly it with a Saito 72. I have it over 10 years. Your Kadet looks lovely. Very relaxing to fly.

That camera shutter noise is horrid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But the aircraft is very nice!!

Why did you lift the plane vertical after startup ??

Glow engines tend to get lean when they have to "pull" the fuel vertically, since they have no pump in the carb, and they just rely on tank pressurization. So the ideal tunning is al little bit on the rich side when leveled. The simplest way to check it is putting it vertical at full throttle, and hear if rpm's drop.

Sorry for the delay. Not my model, so I had to ask. Yes, aileron mod was made by the builder. Hernán built the wing without dihedral, and just "cut off" a section of the wing for the ailerons, between the trailing edge and the aft spar (Kadet Senior has a wing design with fore and aft spars). Hinges are in the upper surface, which adds mechanical aileron differential, that is a plus in this design. It was a more simple mod than stripe ailerons, of course. The size? He just guessed...
