The Jakl is pretty rad, plus you can find it regularly available and not for an insane price. PSA has come a long way since 2014, and I’m here for it 🤙🏽

I agree. I love their ammo. I've had 0 issues with any of their 9mm, 380acp, 45acp, 10mm , 308 , 5.56 and 223. I'm looking into maybe purchasing a jakl from them
@davidelkins98949 ай бұрын
Most of the former Seal guys on social media are either huge Sig fan boys (which is ok as Sig makes some great products) or actually on the Sig payroll. I've always found Coch and tactical Hyve to stay impartial and down to earth. That's why I enjoy their content and keep coming back for more.

Ive got an 8.5 JAKL in 300 blackout. I shoot unsupressed with no issues. The adjustable gas block and no buffer system is awesome. Haven’t had any issues so far. Highly recommend

Thanks Coch. I'm giving the PSA offering my mandatory wait to see how it holds up before pulling the trigger on getting one, see what I did there. You saying it's GTG just pushed me over the finish line. Thanks Brother.

The 300blk Jakl is a bit closer in size to the Rattler with its 8.5in barrel. Once you get to 10in barrels and under, the ballistics of 556 start to fall apart anyways.
@davidduafala30509 ай бұрын
The Sig in 300 black out would be awesome but in 5.56 there is no way to overcome that short length of barrel. The Jakl has been perfect for me and the 10.5 inch barrel is as short as I want to go. The Jakl is reliable , handy and has modern features. I did everything that the Tactical Hyve puts out so far. Good work.

The SIG is cool but for most people not going to war and on a budget.you can get the Jakl and other stuff for same price,like ammo and a plate carrier or a pistol,holster and bunch of 9mm for the price of the SIG.

Just bought my Jakl a week ago. Excited to get my hands on it. I’ve owned Sigs in the past, but to be perfectly honest, they’re not worth the money. There are enough other companies developing equal/superior arms for far less. Very excited to get my hands on more PSA products this year.

What do you mean you bought it but you haven't put your hands on it? Is there a waiting period where you live, or is it coming in the mail?

I own many sig products and they have always been great. I just got my first pea PCC and so far so good. no complaints and the price is right. I think barrel life might be an issue but I haven't used it enough for that to be an issue. GT test a spa recently and it did surprising well, I was very impressed for the price. It's not a DD or Sig but you can't beat the price/quality

I am waiting to see the longevity of the Jakl and durability play out. I want it to be able to hold up like a BCM etc. I think they will get there, but might not be there yet. Also the new 5.56 krink may be more inline with the size lol.

I have a jakyl and couldn't make it through 1 range session. I had to send it back to get fixed after 5 rounds brutal
@tacticalhyvecadre10499 ай бұрын
PSA guns tend to need a break in period. A few hundred rounds or so. That’s generally what we see when new guns show up to classes. Not always some seem to work fine.
@VegasStacker7029 ай бұрын
This wasn't just a break in issue. It wouldn't cycle any rounds.

How do you like the OLIGHT on the JAKL? I liked mine but ended up replacing with a TLR-1 I had laying around. I didn’t like the momentary option on the OLIGHT.
@PFICoch7 ай бұрын
The best thing about the Olight is the rechargeable battery, just keep it plugged in and it will be fresh for the bump in the night. Durability under high volume shooting is not so good though
@cookie55354 ай бұрын
for an armored car officer what would you recommend? Is the 5.5" and sig price worth it over the Jakl 10/8.5"?

Can the charging handle on the Jakl be used as almost a "gas pedal" found on some pistols to help mitigate recoil for weaker shooters?

I was wonderingi was watching a video of yours from a while back about budget optics. in there you said to have multiple rifles. How many would you suggest and all the same caliber or would they need to be different and if different which ones would you suggest thanks
@PFICoch8 ай бұрын
How many rifles you need, and what caliber is a very subjective choice. Most people will only ever need a standard AR in 556 with a red dot site a flashlight and a sling. If you want more range include a telescopic site, if you want more power, go AR 10, if you want less power, go 9mm or 22. My point was That the AR platform is very customizable with the same manual of Arms.
