Really great review! Everything is covered in a professional way! As for the Sig, it’s an absolute beauty! The only drawback is hefty price tag, but we live only once! Merry Christmas to you and success to your developing channel!🎄😇

What an outstanding pistol! I have a non-comped version; however, I replaced the frame w/a Wilson Combat one & it feels fantastic. But, every time I handle the Legion, its heft & pointability is fantastic, too. It would be a tough call for me to pick between the two.

I really liked it. My only disappointment was the trigger.

(Sorry for the long comments... this is how I start my morning with a coffee lol) Not a Sig guy for my own reasons, but I am always impressed with how well and quickly they respond to the market and their customers. Somehow in 2024, OEMs are still releasing "carry" pistols without optic cuts and/or standard accessory rails. Meanwhile, I'm still wrapping my head around this having an OEM 17-round mag in a G48 or Shield footprint. Crazy! $1200 is steep, but pretty much what I'd expect for what it is (Sig tax + "Legion" tax lol), and especially being a 1st-gen all metal model... gotta pay for that tooling lol. If S&W, Glock, or CZ released or re-released a slimline CCW pistol with these exact specs for ~$700-800, I'd buy it tomorrow. Hell, I'd even take an FN, HK, or Walther for ~$900. This thing fills a great spot between those guys' current offerings and Wilson Combat's EDC9 series... even if I had WC money to blow, I don't want a single action w/thumb safety as my carry piece. It's fine, just not my preference. I think the Sig's thumb serrations are okay (I find myself pushing forward in the direction of fire in that location, personally), but I do think a boss/bump feature to keep your thumb off the slide would go a long way. Also: I agree with your buddy, the TLR Sub is a great light! Thanks again for your kind reply last week; look forward to the next video!

Nice review! The best P365 made. Shot the Legion a lot but don't own one yet. Nice ports on the G48.

I love the gun but was very disappointed with the trigger. This 48 is my favorite. Set up perfectly for me. As always, thank you for stopping by.

If the axg had the same trigger as 226 x5 legion it would be worth it. But it has the same ole 365 trigger.
@gair19443 күн бұрын
The striker trigger is never gonna rival a 226 hammer fired trigger imo

It would be awesome with the 226 X5 trigger!

I have a x macro …..I chose the 229 Legion SAO over the AXG. Same money but the 229 legion is a far superior gun in quality and trigger.

229 Legion SAO is awesome.

As of now you can buy an axg grip module on sigs website and soon the axg legion grip module. I bought the axg grip module for my xl. I do have the macro grip on it originally. But I can use either the original xl, macro or the axg module on my XL. With apples to apples I don’t feel a major difference between the xl with the axg grip compared to my axg legion. As far as recoil and the benefit of the ports. As far as the lines on the side of the legion mid way of the slide is for aesthetic’s and reference only. Not recoil mitigation. Unlike Icarus precision grip module that have integrated gas pedals. Then you narrow your holster options. While gas pedals work well. Not really meant for a carry micro compact. Unless you carry a staccato. Or an anything you may add a gas pedal on. As far as price tag. I agree that it’s priced accordingly. Not every higher end gun should be priced at 500. There is a saddle for every ass.

Would be great with a thumb safety- which I prefer on striker fired guns
@MDpolo2 күн бұрын
Do they offer it with a thumb safety? I didn’t look into that.

My current edc. My only disappointment with this Legion model is the trigger. Sig has always improved the triggers on the Legion models. That isn't the case on this one. Other than that Sig did an awesome job on this version of the P365. I do agree it is overpriced for what it is. Nice review. 👍

Does your FCU rattle at all when in the metal frame? Once I took mine to the range and broke her in, if I shook the pistol a bit, there was a lot of rattle all of a sudden but lessened once a loaded mag is inserted.
@MDpolo2 күн бұрын
Yes. Rattles without a loaded mag.

I wish they made a shorter grip version, as it is too long and 17 rounds are too heavy. And i wish it were not with inferior cerakote. Great gun to shoot though.
@johnwick12895 күн бұрын
Going to disagree! It is the perfect size for a do everything pistol. Also, you can always switch the grip module to an XL frame and use a 12 or 10 round magazines.

As of now you can buy an axg grip module on sigs website. Not cerakoted and no mag well. Soon the axg legion grip module. I bought the axg grip module for my xl. I do have the macro grip on it originally. But I can use either the original xl, macro or the axg module on my XL.
