Beautiful Job my warm regard to Uyghurs ,thanks so much for your nice video . I feel that some times there are some of Arabic words in your language is that true ?
@azertymozart23342 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙂. Unfortunetely, most dancers in this dance are not Uyghur but han-chinese. Don't ask me where gone all those beautiful uyghur dancers , my brother 😞. Atleast, main dancer & 2-3 of them Uyghurs.... Song & choreography as well as music are Uyghur classic Mukam. Yes, in Uyghur language you can find arabic & persian words. We are more close to Middle East culture & tradition than chinese. And we're muslims.

The ancestors of the Uyghur Mahmud Kashghari wrote the first ever Arab-Turkish dictionary - Dīwān Lughāt al-Turk in 1072-74 CE during the Seljuk Empire which also spoke Turkish language when they controlled much of the Arabic world which could be the first dictionary ever written in the world. The first English dictionary was written by Samuel Johnson's Dictionary of the English Language in 1755.

Apparently, some dancers in yellow dresses are not Uyghur
@azertymozart23342 жыл бұрын
Indeed! Actually most of them are not Uyghurs. Please, don't ask me where did the Uighur dancers disappear to?😞 At least choreography, music, song, main dancer & 2-3 in yellow are Uyghur... The rest are han-chinese. Made in china....

That's true. The lead dancer, Gulmira Mamet, teaches Uyghur dances in Beijing.

@@shermanpeabody6102 Post any recent interviews for her ? I love how communist preserved Tai Chi and other authentic Chinese principals, all secondary to communism.
