This, especially charming No. 3, reminds me of Masashi Hamauzu, especially his Vielen Dank album, delta epsilon, or alpha clock. You may not be familiar with him, he's a video game composer originally, though he composes independently more and more. He also composed beautiful music for Sony's alpha clock website (which features stunning photography from world heritage sites). Hamauzu is also very fond of the contrast between staccato and legato, like in No. 5 and 7 here.

This is really beautifull and interesting music. I really love it. Be carefull, in piece VIII, the beginning of right hand should be written in F key (clé de fa, en français). Not in G key (clé de sol).
