Sight and Sound Directors' Poll | 100 Greatest Films of All Time | 2022 | British Film Institute

From one movie lover to another, I hope you enjoy this week's video.
Every decade since 1992, Sight and Sound, a monthly publication of the British Film Insitute, has complemented its celebrated critics’ poll by formally sounding out the world’s leading directors on the ten films they believe to be the greatest of all time.
Though it has always been global and inclusive in scope, the poll has expanded significantly each decade. In 1992, 101 directors voted; fast-forward to 2012, when 358 filmmakers took part. This year, for the fourth edition of the poll, we received ballots from 480 directors. This electorate spans experimental, arthouse, mainstream and genre filmmakers from around the world. In every case, the voter is a director of note.
Here are the 100* greatest films of all time, as voted for by many of today’s greatest living filmmakers, published December 2022. (Technically, it's 104 films.)

I all heard of, I know all of but I really watch half of. :) By the way these S&S list very respected list but not full of respected. Because they ask just some directors and just some critics. They should ask much more directors, script writers, editors and much more cinema critics, cinema academicians, cinema writers, cinepiles, film blog writers etc. And not tye famous ones. I mean, for example; I know an instagram cinema page with just 300 people follow this page. But this page upload great and uniqe film analyzes and uniq film & art references. Or the unknow cinephile people of reddit with became great and uniq film analys. S&S magazine ask them too. You know I mean? :)

This list is only from directors, not critics, but I get your point that it should include opinions from other creatives within the industry. Their other list of 250-ish movies, which is a critic's poll, tends to be less favored with the general public, but I'm going to post a video featuring that list as well, just for comparison.
