Higher the speed more time will be required to stop the vehicle. Hence it is evident that as the speed increases the sight distance also increases.

If speed increases ,Sight distance should be more because to stop the vehicle ,more time and more distance will be covered . Similarly if brake efficiency is more ,Sight distance should be less as the vehicle stops immediately after application of brake. Please check it out .

if the efficiency of break is more then SSD must be decrease because breaking distance will be less due to efficient brake.

Your lecture is Very good and easy to understand But Sir/Bhai last main thoda sa galat hai kya ? agr hai to please Agree kare if Braking efficiency is high then SSD should be less if Braking efficiency is LOW then SSD should be high similarly In the case of Gradient in Ascending order if vehicle moving upward then then gravity forces decreases the speed of vehicle brakes seams to be applied more efficiently and SSD should be less In the case of Gradient in Descending order if vehicle moving downward then gravity forces increases the vehicle speed and brakes seams to be applied Less efficiently and SSD should be More

Sir factors affecting me ssd increase and decrease ulta bata diya h apne 1. If V IS MORE THEN WE NEED MORE SSD TO STOP THE VEHICLE 2. IF BRAKING EFFICIENCY IS GOOD THEN LESSER WILL BE THE SSD BCOZ IMMEDIATELY THE VEHICLE IS STOPPED 3. IF FRICTION IS MORE THAN ALSO SSD WILL BE LESS 4. IN ASCENDING GRADIENT GRAVITY IS HELPING THE BRAKES AS IT IS IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO THE SPEED SO LESS SSD IS NEEDED BUT IN DESCENDING GRADIENT GRAVITY HELPING SPEEDING UP SO GREATER SSD NEEDED. 😊😊😊😊

Reaction time is the time taken to react so as to hit the brakes or not (PIEV Theory). And the distance covered during the this reaction time is lag distance. So, Lag distance= speed x time LD= V.t Where t is reaction time.
