I am from Florida and took the same risk man I flew all the way to Texas to test drive and buy it. Was so worth it but I did have to put in about 4k$ which I did not expect for having the car just for one year but I have no regrets it puts a smile on my face every time I drive and is aging like fine wine it is my project car and daily so I try to maintain it as much as I can thanks for this review

@@joaoj1593 nice! Only asked bc I was looking at a blue one in TX. The manuals are so rare I half expected us to have looked at the same car 😂

"Hairdresser's car"?? I don't think so! I'm in the UK,, and I bought my 2008 280 in 2018, and its been a faultless joy. And it can most certainly hold it's own when needed. And I'm No hairdresser.

Excellent car. These cars intrigue me. I might go for one if I can find it with manual transmission. Now that you’ve had it a while, how much money have you needed to put into it? How has the power roof held up? I actually haven’t seen many issues with the roof doing online research. It does look quite complex tho.

You say "108,000" miles as though that is high for a 17 year old car. It's hugely below average!
