Sightseeing in South Padre Island|South Padre Island Attractions|A day in South Padre Island, Texas

On our 6th day of Southern Texas trip we spent a day to see some top sights in South Padre Island, Texas. We visited Port Isabel Light House, built in 1852 to guide ships, Sea Turtle Inc., an organization rehabilitating & releasing sea turtles as well as offering educational services, took a short board walk in Laguna Madre Nature Trail and the drove to Thrive Beach on the north side of the island. At dusk we went to Pier 19 to see the sunset and have our dinner at the Sea Ranch Restaurant.
