The giant mushrooms you have in the dark oak forest can be broken to give mushrooms (it isn't a 100% chance). Also your automatic flower farm may work if u put a flower directly under the dispenser (it will only duplicate that one flower).

Sigils, dispensers do work for bonemealing grass to get flowers. You just can't do it from above. The dispenser just has to be directly underneath the grass facing upward. The design you were using was trying to put the dispenser above the grass with a 1 block space, which is a bedrock thing not a java.

For a better flower farm if your going to bonemeal it your self anyway is to just have non sticky pistons pushing a even bigger grass platform back and forth even quicker in stead of pulling it if that makes sense. I hope it helps you out.

2 things about the flower farm, 1: if the dispenser uses the bonemeal from below it will grow grass, and you should make your flower farm in a swamp, as the only flower that spawns in swamps can be used for saturation suspicious stews just like dandelions. Also, saturation stew fills all hinger and saturation, not 7

Podzol for starters can be spawned in by making a Large Spruce tree. Any 2x2 spruce tree can make Podzol secondly Podzol will only spread to Dirt blocks, Not Grass blocks, so it wont infect the world Anyone else facepalm when Sigils ran passed those Giant mushroom trees in the dark oak forest while looking for mushrooms...

To fix the flower farm you need a bigger area and normal pistons not sticky one and then have them on a clock going at different times and everything will break.
