Another very nice ride through the fabulous scenery Switzerland can provide: not the shortest way, but the most idyllic with a little detour to spice it up. You do know here the good parts are, and the enjoy the ride from the best position on the car: the roof! And the next video on the list is: Orvin to the summit of the Chasseral. Cool video. Lenzerheide‘s a great place. I‘d have thought you’d take the other side of the valley to Ilanz rather than going through Flims! The rheinschlucht canyon is beautiful. Maybe next time for Chur to Andermatt!

Rode this route tnis summer (July 1st 2022) en route from an overnight stop in Valbella to our next stop in Obergoms. Unfortunately we didn't get such good weather as you, by the time we reached Dissentis it had started to rain and we crossed the Oberalps pass in a thunderstorm with some snow. At least by the time we reached Andermatt it had stopped raining but when we started to climb the Furka pass we hit the clouds with low visibility until we had passed the top when it began to clear. Aftrer Gletsch we took a detour over the Grimsel pass to Meiringen and again hit clouds both there and back only improving once we took the road to Obergoms and our hotel in Ulrichen. So unfortunately missed much of the great scenery on the way. At least the next day was bright sunshine and warm for our 5 pass route. Grimsel then Susten then back up and down the Oberalp, followed by Furka then Neufenen and the old St Gothard (Tremola) finally back over the Furka and down to our hotel. Some really amazing roads and views this time made the poor weather the previous day unimportant. Watching youre videos was one of the reasons I decided to go on the Alpine tour this year so that I could see some of the roads you show in real life, definitely worth it.
