Both the lenses are almost identical or the sports version is slightly better in performance I would say. Large difference is the weather sealing that you get in the sports version with some added weight. Contemporary is lightweight and easy to carry around.

Lensinu Optical stability(OS) undu. So shake comparitively kuravayirikkum. Also in this video when paired with Canon R5 , it also offers in-body stabilization, that too helps in max stabilization. Tripod use cheythal it will be steady and perfect.

I am also using the same set up and very much satisfied with the results. Proper camera setting plus how we manage to use the lens (handleld or using tripod) will lead to good results. I always use the lens handheld. Also you can make use of animal eye tracking in R5 for fast focussing and better tracking.
