Good one, Miro. I have both the 16 and 56 f1.4 lenses from Sigma. I found those to be very good, pretty underrated in the m43 universe. I reckon you will have plenty of fun with it. Regarding AFC Speed: exactly what you noticed too. Somewhat slow, but reliable and steady. 👍

Do you feel this lens would make the G7’s auto focus more usable?

Hello. I think so. Focus breathing is slower with this lens which minimizes the pulsing effect. However I never used the G7 so i'm not familiar with the AF on that camera. Try it out in a photography store first before you buy it. I hope this helps. Cheers!

Nice video, Miro. For me this lens is to big and heavy for a 16 mm. Have you tried the Lumix Leica 15mm or the Olympus 17mm? If so, how the sigma compares to these two?

record your vlogs in 60fps hlg or cinelike D2, play a little with focus speed / hold duration and you'll be impressed. When i record vlog i do not need vlog profile.
