Sigma zooms for Sony full frame are heavy comparitively and have poor AF which place them behind Tamron and Sony lenses for videography.

@@AnilPrabhakaran sir then probably you have never used sigma dg dn lenses! i my self own 35 and 85 1.4 dg dn lenses these two are my working horse for my daily projects , using it past 3 years and never had this feeling to get sony GM or cheap tamrons!

Dear friend I’m not here for a debate. All I was saying is that Sigma lenses are very big and heavy for holding along with camera and gimbal setup for video shoots. Moreover their AF and focus breathing are poor when compared to other manufacturer’s lenses. Hope you are using them for photography only.

@@PuthethuKollam sir big and heavy in which way? they are pretty light weight compared to their DG HSM versions. your claims don't hold any proof for having poor AF and Focus breathing. I use my sigma lenses for both photography and videography, and they do excellent job, i don't know from which source you are getting the facts. don't comment if you haven't used it.

What on earth is the supposed to mean? It is an upgrade. I've bought it. I had the MK1. It's faster AF with the new motor, lighter, fixed dust creeping issues, aperture ring, more custom buttons, blah, blah. It's a genuine upgrade.
