how do you get your photos so sharp? do you sharpen more in posts? i shoot on Apeture most of the time, 100 SIO, and shutter well above 500 (during day light), but dont see these results. Thanks in advance!

I just use Lightrooms default '40' sharpening - in these pictures I also added a little 'clarity' which might help? If you're shooting at 500+ ...I'm surprised that you're not getting sharp images. Are you using the electronic shutter? That could potentially be causing the issues.

Thanks Yoel 🙏🏻. I’d definitely recommend buying into the Godox ecosystem. Cheap but good and all work together with the wireless transmitter without having to buy any additional gear. If budget allows I’d have a look at the AD200 / Ad200 pro. In my videos I’ve been using the TT350s which is the baby Speedlight, and also have the more powerful v860ii (neither are as powerful as the AD200 pro though)

Have you ever had focus problem with your a6500 or sigma 30? I have this combo and my focus stops working from time to time. The green dot and waves on the bottom let corner are stuck as well. It’s as if it’s searching for focus or processing the scene. Definitely sucks when capturing street photography

I just downloaded your presets and I'm looking forward to hitting the town with my a6600 to get some shots to try with the presets. idk what's up, but my focus is never on point. i have sigma 30 1.4 + nex 5 and when shooting portraits, i can't get both eyes in focus at 1.4. or if get the eyes focused, most of the face is out of focus. idk if my lens is broken or is it just due to my old body.. or i lack experience.. i got the body 2 months ago and lens 1 month ago.

That’s just because at 1.4 the depth of field is really shallow. If you want to make sure both eyes are in focus you’ll have to shoot the face straight on. Or shoot at f2-2.8. It’s normal at 1.4 for the eyes to be in focus but the rest of the face a little out.

😂😂 I used to think the same years ago but all I can say is keep at it and check out some editing videos. You’ll soon come to realise that (in most cases) all the cool pictures you see on Instagram and KZbin have all been edited a fair bit compared to the original image.
