I don’t understand why they couldn’t let us customize music tracks, to listen to Last Surprise over Take Over. Persona Q2 had 4 regular main battle themes and you get to select what songs to play when encountering enemies. If I have to approach and purposely attack shadows without giving an ambush just to listen to Last Surprise, that is a poorly made design choice. It is like in Persona 4 Golden where Time to Make History plays when you attack a Shadow anywhere but behind whereas Reach Out For The Truth plays only when you attack them for behind. While I prefer regular battle theme from Persona 4 over Time To Make History, I can understand why people are unhappy with that way to listen to battle music.

Wouldn't it have been great if Atlus used this new battle theme transition to the maximum extent. Last surprise is now the theme that plays whenever you attack a enemy head on (even tho it should be when you ambush an enemy I mean cmon could a choice make any more sense than that), but what about the DLC costumes. Imagine this: the DLC costumes also follow this change up system. P1 would have its op and the battle theme, P2 would have its op and the battle theme, P3 would have BURN MY DREAD and Mass Destruction, P4 would have Purusing my true self and Time to make History, P4D would have Dance! and Reach out to the truth, P4A would just stay the same really (but if they had adachi's theme fool or clown that'd be spectacular), P5 is well you get the point, P5D would be Groovy and Rivers in the desert perhaps, and I don't really know anything at all about mainline SMT, but you get the gist. Man, if only they did that!

So from what I understand, Kasumi gets a skill that does mass crit chance up Yusuke gets mass Heat Riser Ann gets mass Concentrate Presumably, Ryuji gets mass Charge Akechi (black mask) might get debilitate that also reduces opponents SP Joker might get all above skills depending on Persona Haru gets mass Tetra+Makarakarn in one move (transliterated name: wall of life) Makoto? Morgana gets a mass healing move that looks different from Mediarahan. Removes status, perhaps? (Also he has Masukunda but I have never played persona 5 so idk if he gets it normally) Futaba now also gets mass heal which heals more and removes status Source: am a Chinese speaker. Also knows limited Japanese
