Attention! The real weight of this set is abou 1550-1570g included Tubelesstape…. Zipp says 1450g without so it is totaly wrong!

I think that's 1450g WITHOUT tubeless valves and rim tape. Mine came in at 1530g total.

Are the valves really that heavy? Plus I thought the new zipps do not need rim tape as they don‘t have rim holes

@@ArteUltra1195 Yes they do have rim tape. I should have removed the valves and weighed them. 80g is a big difference eh? The next time I replace the sealant I'll remove the valves.

so your 5 foot, why would that stop you being able to ride them. it depends more on your mass, I'm just shy of 6 foot and weigh 62kg. My Roval Rapides are a handful when the winds go north of 20mph sustained winds. Gusts anything above 35-40mph and you're in for a party. But i dont tend to ride on those days anyhow.

I have been riding ENVE wheels 45, 3.4, 5,6, 7.8 and I own like 5 sets. Never issues. I did ride once zipp but I returned then as they had bad reviews. This was about 5 years ago.

I'm sure they are good wheels, but I just can't stand Zipp. The golf ball effect dimples seems more like marketing to me. I reckon if it was that much of a game changer, then other wheel manufactures would produce a variant.

zipp’s warranty is rubbish. they had a manufacturing defect on their 303s but told me flatly that i could only send it back to them via the seller i bought it from. problem was, i bought it online! they were not helpful at all and could not recommend me to any local seller!

Overpriced and frankly not that special anymore. There so many boutique wheel brands, half the price and just as good if not better.

Yes, lots of wheels look like the Zipps, but there's only one in terms of build quality. Reynolds might be a close second.

@@driventomadness117 Just find a good wheel builder, Duke Barracuda rims + DTSwiss 180 hubs: higher quality and much lighter for about the same price.
