I think it has a lot to do with the out of this planet ride he did that Giro. It was really impressive. Then to see him blow and what Chris Froome achieved. It was an Giro to remember.

So is Matt. Saw him last weekend interviewing people at the Rouleur Classic event and his demeanour is that he makes them feel comfortable and relaxed and so they become chatty. Its great that he has reconnected with and is contributing to cycling in a positive way after being out of it for so long.

The effortlessness with which Simon climbs at Matt's pace is amazing. Simon's out of the saddle and not even breathing hard. Matt's in a smaller gear, gasping to talk, pushing the crank like he's Froome.

Simon makes the climbing look so damn easy, Matt did an excellent job keeping up!!! Trying to speak and climb is NOT an easy task... after the first 5 minutes into the climb, I personally would have started using sign language to Simon just to try and breath right! Sigma Sports rocks!!!

Ok I need to say I really am a big Matt fan or should that be fan of Matt. He is made to do this as he gets the best out of his interviewees by just being himself. Great to hear Simon say why he took up the sport and him and his brother are top guys. I have yet to watch a Matt video for more than a few minutes before I am smiling. Looking forward to the next one.

Thank you for the great video! Excellent content from start to finish. Heavier Tiagra on a winter bike makes fitness sense, ya? And the hotel reality is something many gt riders would hesitate to mention for various reasons. I got the impression Simon has a bit of northern in'em, willing to do whatever it takes, to get the gains. Just curios, was it Tiagra full group, and what wheels did he have on?
