I have a street dog name rani. Her brother shera got parvo as vet told us and died within 2 days. We were scared as rani was in contact with him and she will get parvo as well. And after 2 days she was showing the 1st symptom that is lethargic behavior and refusing anything. That day she also puked out the water she drank then i immediately take her to vet and gets her IV fluid done. Vet said she cant survive as she needs care and she is a street dog. I kept her at my home and we gave her IV 2 times a day for atleast 10 days and now she is healthy. She is now eating properly and not passing bloody stool and vomit. It has been 20 days since her treatment started.i am really happy.i just want to share that if we are aware early then we can save our dog from parvo.

I had a six months old lab puppy. He usually had meal at 9 am. On 1st day , he refused to eat , even after calling him again and again and after every hour and forced and around 3 pm I forced him to eat like putting it in his mouth gently but didn't eat and I thought it would be just a normal stomach upset and thought he would surely eat at night meal. I went to shop and bought puppy pedigree taste up meal which was his favorite which cost 200/- and I was quite sure as he skipped morning meal he will definitely love it , but he didn't not even smell it , called him again and again to eat but he refuse even to smell. And at that night he vomit yellowish water. I didn't take seriously coz it seems to me like a normal and he was at that 1st day not seems so weak but he wasn't active. And next 2nd day morning he vomited Yellowish with blood ,I took him to a vet and continue to give him medication , glucose and to stop blood etc etc and doctor said nothing's serious . And after done glucose dripping for 2nd day at 12 pm, we took home and he then started having blood slimely and watery diarrhea. Omg I swear the smell in the room and outside is so intensely strong , I can't even imagine, he was a home dog so , he usually stay in our sofa and floor near me, as he is sick he is kept in my next room, I can keep outside but I have a feeling that I want to show more love that I can't put him outside the house as I thought it will make him feeleven more lonely as he is sick , the room has no window fitted so the smell, I can't get closer to him without holding my breath. That day evening he seems weaker. And on third day again after glucose dripping done at 12 pm at vet. When we took home and he stayed at a place we placed. But his eyes was still flikering. And the smell become more stronger I can't even tell. Then the smell is so strong that we can't stay inside our house .After an hour , decided to put him outside in clean comfort area. When I get near him , he didn't seems to move but he seems dead but his heart was still pumping, the smell is even more worst I had four layer of mask and still I had to hold the breathe to get near him . I picked him up and put it on the other side of the house , as I put him down his legs started shaking and making a wneening voice , that struck me deep in my heart and tears won't stop falling , and after few min at 3 pm he passes away on 3rd day. I don't understand I didn't delay to took him to a vet but still😩. I missed him so much. R.I.P TEDDY

It's okay... Actually the same thing happened to my dog yesterday....I took her to the nearest Veretenary doctor , she also got her 1st dose of vaccine but it's too late ..she passed away and i also kept thinking like you... Having a pet is a responsibilty, First thing complete vaccination is must. Even after vaccination your dog can get parvo but chances are low. Also make sure vaccine cold chain is maintained. My dog is fully vaccinated but infected from parvo virus. It's been 5 days and she is getting intensive care, there were moments when we thought we lost her but now she is improving, vomiting is gone, no to little blood in stool but not firm yet as we are force feeding her curd/ dahi as per recommended by Vet from last two days, rest nutrition and medications are by IVs. Don't lose hope, buckle up and give your buddy love and care. The moment you lose hope your buddy lose life. So stay strong!

Mere Puppy ko aaj 4th day hai na kuch khaya hai sirf pani peeta hai. Ulti aur dast bloody nahi h normal h. Jyda ulti aur dast nahi kr rha hai. First day se hi uska treatment chal rha hai.fir bhi koi aaram smjh ni aa rha hai. Mera dog jab 2-3 months ka tha to usko parvo ho Gaya tha hamne uska treatment karwaya 1 week Tak treatment chala doctor ne jaisa kaha waisa hi Kia khana Pani Dena band kar dia tha or time to time medicine bhi lagwai wo bohot jaldi hi thik ho Gaya doctor ne bhi kaha tha apka puppy kaffi jaldi thik ho Gaya and Aaj 2.5 saal bad usko firse potty me blood araha hai aur vomiting and potty me bohot smell bhi arahi hai samaj nahi araha kya karna h medicine bhi nahi kha Raha wo bohot try kar lia kal agar thik nahi hua to doctor ko dikhana padega 😔 I hope wo jaldii thik ho jaye

एक 10 दिन के लंबे इंतजार और डॉक्टर और हमारी मेहनत के बाद आज में दिल से कह सकता हु की मेरा कुत्ता भी इस पारवो से जीत ✌️🏼✌️✌️गया,मेरे पे एक देशी बखरवाल नस्ल 🐕🐕 का कुत्ता हे । और भाइयो में आप से भी कहना चाहता हु की अगर आपका कुत्ता भी पारवो से ग्रसित हो जाये तो घबराये नहीं उसके ड्रिप चालू करवाये और और उशी के साथ एक नाइट्रोजेन और कुत्तो के लिए प्लाज्मा आता है उशे जरूर चढ़वाएं ,आपको 4 दिन बाद रिजल्ट दिखने लगेगा। और लेकिन कोशिस ये करे की पहले ही उसका टीकाकरण और बूस्टर dose वगेरा लगा लो। ताकि इस्की जरुरत नहीं पड़े। और लास्ट में में आपको कहना चाहता हु की आपका कुत्ता जब बीमार हो तो उसको अपने परिवार के हिशे की ही तरह रखे और उस्की देखभाल करे ,उसकी उपेक्षा न करे ,इस से उसकी रिकवरी और जल्दी होगी।
