If thats the case, that's similar to the US, and how we've been paying extra unemployment. Not the exact amount, but the same of only paying those who lost their job due to covid. So I agree but not as drastic. Although I would love to see each have to look at reasonable costs and try and live off of $35,000, with a car payment, daycare, gas, groceries, utilities, house payment or rent, medical insurance, taxes, prescriptions, the unknown expenses such as new tires, washing machine breaking down, etc. I would like to see how they could manage this household for 1 year and work 40-50 or more hours to survive, check to check...

This freaking president has driven a guy like me, 4 years of Military Academy Training, to go out this morning and shoplift $80 worth of meats, powdered milk and bread.
