This lightbar was used by the Illinois State Police back in the late 70's early 80's. I remember a 1980 Dodge Aspen 360 V/8 with one fully lit at night on I-290 westbound on an accident scene - quite compelling.

I believe Rockford Illinois also used these back in the 1980s on the Diplomats. Only proof I have is a couple clips from the Action News.
