Reading the source code @8:58, instead of the lines 68-72, a connect (or debounce) method in KDSignalDebouncer to be used like bouncer->connect(ui->lineEdit, &QLineEdit::textChanged, filter, [filter, this] { filter->setFilterText(ui->lineEdit->text()); }, 500); would be a good improvement, I guess
