This short marketing video was produced by Signal in Aberdeen for Pict Offshore's game-changing ‘Get Up Safe’ system. The film was shot at various locations, including Hornsea 2, one of the largest offshore wind farms in the world. The video explains how ‘GUS’ lifts and lowers personnel between crew transfer vessels and the external platform of the wind turbines and was developed through a collaboration between Pict Offshore and Ørsted, aimed at transforming the way that maintenance technicians access offshore wind turbines.
As of June, this year, the system passed ten thousand safe transfers, with no safety incidents of any kind. The video captures the system in action and has testimonials from those who have benefited from it.
