I just realised, couldn't they just give Ariane and Elster a gun with two bullets? Or pills that knock them out forever? Or if she wouldn't want to do it, just self destruct the ship? From what I've seen of this game, the whole point of the Eusan Nation seems to just be evil. Or rather, to facilitate all the suffering that goes on in the game, and with it, its story, all the events that take place.

now let's be honest , out of all normal endings promise is the best one , but obviously Artifact is the actual good ending

I honestly took it the opposite way. Artifact might be the worst ending of them all. Sure, it appears as if Elster and Ariane get to share a moment together forever, but it's fake. It's hollow. Ariane is left watching in despair as Elster dances with a shell of herself, knowing she'll never be freed from her torment. Everyone on the Sierpinski continues to despair in their condition, left with no salvation. In reality, Artifact leaves no winners. There is no good ending in Signalis, and I think that's kinda the point. The cards Ariane, Elster, and everyone else were dealt were simply shitty. They were doomed from the start. The Eusan Nation set them all onto a collision course of death, misery and despair. if you do want a good ending though, take solace in the fact that considering Lilith and Alina's relationship preceding Elster and Ariane's, it's likely that their love is never truly lost, only reborn and reunited constantly

You all did such an outstanding job with this... I love the additional Sound design and Ariane's voice notes were genuinely heartwrenching to listen to. You did an incredible job with expressing the pain she's constantly in. I don't know what else to say except....Well done. Really. I don't know how long you've been doing voice acting for but I think you very much deserve to be proud of yourself for the skill level you've achieved.

man, i was literally just replaying signalis to try to 100% it on steam and as i was reading those last few notes i thought "damn, imagine if those were voice recordings from ariane instead of notes. good thing they aren't cuz i don't think my heart would handle it" and, a few minutes later, i open yt and this pops up and i was right; my heart, and please take this as a compliment. did NOT handle it lol. your peformance is utterly heartbreaking in the best way possible, it genuinely gave me shivers when you started speaking. it made me fall in love with this story all over again. thank u for this amazing video 🤍

I wish you had voiced Elster's narration on things like the garbage bags, Ariane's easel and the damaged coolant system. Still, that was utterly heart wrenching and I don't think I will recover any time soon 😢

@@kuripa_chan She does! It's not something the game really shows you but she can comment on certain things in the world if you interact with them. It's really cool and lets us get a small glimpse into Elster's headspace, however small.

I tried my best to patch it up, but we ran out of spare parts..."

I'm currently working on a Signalis-inspired animation and have a character named Sheila who I think your voice would be perfect for. Sheila is a LSTR unit with a lot of depth-both strong and vulnerable. Your style would bring her to life in such a special way. I would say in my opinion for Ester, that after she is stabbed it wouldn't be painful noises from her, it'd just be an annoyance compared to everything on the road she has been through. Adler failed and is no longer in her way. Determination can drive someone through some severe pain. At least my view, I love this though!

Ah, yeah I can definitely see that! I will admit as much as I love voice acting, sometimes it’s better if games that are open ended like this one don’t have it that way so players can have the freedom to “hear” the scenes as they interpret it vs being limited to the interpretation of the voice actor/voice director, it takes the magic away from the mystery
