Cool, I can't wait to see the other theories about the king in yellow in your videos. But I personally think that the book in the game is like the necronomicon, a book that is powerful but can't be totally compreeded .

I don’t know if anyone has ever said this but I have theory about the four rings that represent the empress in game. While they do represent the empress, they also represent Ariane and Elster. The first ring is the ring of the regent where they Empress is crowned. This can also reflect the time when Ariane thoughts begin to warp reality and she is now in control of the place of Elster’s journey. The second ring or rather lack of represents when the empress did nothing. This can be seen as when Elster is unable to reunite and carry out here promise with Ariane. This can be with her dying in the loop or when she abandoned Ariane such as in the Leave ending. The third ring, the wedding ring. This ring represents a union between the empress and her partner. This union could be seen as the reunion of Elster with Ariane. In both endings, Memory and Promise, she reunites with her. The second meaning usually accompanied with wedding rings is a promise or vow. Which Elster carries out her promise to Ariane in the Promise ending. The final ring, the serpent ring. While the empress this meant her death, the ring itself can be seen to represent something else. The ring is a snake consuming itself, an ouroboros. It represents eternity and endless return. This can be attributed to the secret ending of Signalis. Where Elster and Ariane are now in a new endless cycle.

So you are an author of the SIGNALIS-wiki? Wow. I am really impressed with your depth of study of this theme. I read the King in Yellow 😏 and I got the impression that Ariane was not so much possessed by the Book or the King, as she became a part of it or an unconscious ally. In the end, many who came in contact with the Book in Chambers' original story simply went mad. Ariane, on the other hand, became the god of her world, created by her tortured suffering mind, while the real power of her bioresonance abilities can be truly enormous. *** In resume, I feel SO sorry for Ariane Yeong and, perhaps, I love her as much as Elster does. I agree! I definitely think Ariane is basically The King in Yellow (not literally), as in she’s always present throughout Sierpenski and affecting all of the gestalts and Elster models throughout the game with her bioresonance. She’s the “red eye” (a place holder for the king) that’s always present and influencing the events of the game, like how The King in Yellow is always there and influencing events or people in the book. Also, this game left me fucked up, SOMA did too, and Outer Wilds also left me speechless. All of these games I consider actual art; because that’s what they are. I’m so glad I get to experience these masterpieces in my lifetime!

Yeah. I'll go with the magical book plus bioresonance causing the majority of the game. Maybe it was isa that read the king in yellow thats why she's a special case in the serpienski nightmare.

it could be due to Isa doing the Ritual, Ariane approaching death, Falke gazing past the gate, the miners discovering the flesh below. Which exactly happened first is currently not known, but it is known all happened in close proximity of each other.
