The signal produced by method 1 x[n] -> x[n-1] -> reverse x[n-1] and Method 2 x[n] -> reverse x[n] -> x[1-n] are they always same

Hello dear. Agar negative value dikh rahi hai to usko scaling factor negative integer na le kar time reversal aur interpolation operations use karna better option hai.

dear Sharma, jaroori nahi ki reversal ke baad decimation hi ho hamesha, Reversal ke liye "n" ko "-n" se replace karte hain aap, "1/n" se nahi ki humein interpolate ki jagah decimate karna pade. Let X[n]= {5,1,4°,7,2} (4 is value at origin) To find X[-2n/3]. =X[-(2n/3] X[-n] = {2,7,4°,1,5} X[-2n] = {2,4°,5} X[-2n/3] = {2,0,0,4°,0,0,5}

Sir I can't understand why the shift can be taken non integer during time shifting? For example :t is non integer and the time shift is also non integer such that t+ shift= integer.

for example in unit step sequence : x[n] for x[n+t] Sir you said "t " and "n" must be an integer. if "t"=1.5 at "n"= 1.5 (n+t )becomes an integer i.e=3 and x[3]=1 Sir i cant understand why t has to be an integer. in the above example the signal advances by 1.5.

In case of continuous time signal it is possible but for discrete time signals, t= n.Ts where n can be any integer only, so n+n0 will be an integer only if n0 is an integer. X[n] is always 0 for n=1.5, 2.5 or for any non integer values.

Hello sir.. To interpolate is to append (alpha-1) zeros between each two values of x(n).. What is step interpolated signal?

Interpolating discrete signals in terms of continous signals is nothing but expanding......however u(t)=u(t/2)=u(t) as time scaling has no effect on unit step signal
