Nice selections! I recently tried Mallow and omg I need it, but think I will wait for the Spring. I think you can certainly wear it all year but it'll really bloom in the Spring. Nomade is really good and I love that it also has good longevity. It's not an average floral. It's so true, I never hear anyone talking about that Chanel! Don't know why as it's gorgeous! I also haven't tried Musc Moschus but have heard the raves but hearing you say you prefer Sparkling Sugar?! Now I will to try that one. Btw, I finally tried the Voux Patisserie and you weren't kidding! It's easier to like compared to Italica. I'm so impressed with that one and the longevity. I wore one each hand to compare yesterday and they are both very similar but different. Italica has that lactonic note which can read as almost just beginning to turn cream or milk. My nose has to focus past that to enjoy the rest of it. Voux Patisserie doesn't have this and its stronger.

I have a sample of Barénia coming, I can't wait to try it. It's definitely not their first chypre, hermes are lying 😂 I once described what a chypre was and said modern ones can use patchouli and a few people shot me down and said no, including a channel owner wirh >25k and their own perfume, but they can absolutely have patchouli instead. Miracle berry is supposed to make everything smell sweeter. But yeah! I cant wait to sniff it!i imagine Twilly x Nomade but I'm probably way off 😂

That is interesting about the modern Chypre using Patchouli. I am so curious now to know who it was. 🤔 I feel that as natural oakmoss is not used anymore that it changes the rules a bit. I am learning more about the modern chemicals, how they are used, and it is fascinating.

@newdaynewscent5 they do use the natural oakmoss if it's below a certain percentage, it's not entirely banned just heavily restricted, to the point of which it's not enough on its own. The replacement is a version with either the two components of the natural extract depleted that are the reason for the ban (this is what lvmh, so Guerlain Dior etc have said they do sometimes) or synthetics are used. I'm sure she'd look back and shudder but it was Chris from the Perfume Nest when I was discussing or she was discussing Nomade (or the absolu) once. I don't remember which. I was actually shocked.

Yes it takes me awhile to find out if I love a fragrance.. it's almost like music, I sometimes need to hear a song a few times before I'll love it 😁 Lilies are often indolic for me too but then sometimes I love lily! Wow the D'Orsay sounds beautiful! ❤ Cassili didn't work for me sadly 😢 Smells like KVD Saint to me.. Mallow is so pretty! 💜💛 A rich lady in a candy store! 😅 Hahah love it! 😆 Sunshine woman is so unique I really enjoy sparkling sugar, very pretty 💗

I had to look up Saint. I've never heard of that. Yes D'orsey is my favorite child at the moment...with Barenia. Although my husband said Barenia smelled like an old lady. 😱we are clearly divorcing. Lol
