My grandpa was great man who followed character of prophet Muhammad(saw) he would never miss salah, cook food, ate whatever he had without complaining, cleaned house, never spend excess, always humble and honest, always made Dua especially when I would go to him complaining my head hurts grandpa or my stomach hurts, was the best man I have ever known. May Allah(swt) unite me with him in Jannah And I hope that I will rush to him in Jannah and say “I made it grandpa and kiss him”

The lineage you are talking about are converts. Those converts were converted forcefully. No one "sacrificed" his original religion to accept Islam. They were just trying to stay alive. It was convert or kill philosophy which made Islam so powerful.

Harish Shrivastava I don't try and defend saying that there weren't a few who were probably scared and tried to convert to Islam, more such as pretending to be Muslims. I am sure in this free society that we live in today, no one is bound by any obligation to follow any such religion. Even so, they might not change their names, but will be honest enough to admit that they are not religious and are agonists. People who converted to Islam, for the love of Islam, in the pursuit of equality, respect and brotherhood and the fairness Islam teaches as the basis for every transaction one has in her/his life. I wish to meet my ancestors, and share their stories on how they found the true path.

Waseem Muhammed Khan I do not understand what you are trying to say man. From what I can comprehend, Almost all of the muslims' ancestors (Including yours ) did not accept Islam by choice. There was no love involved. It was all bloodshed, beheading. It was fear of death, not love of Islam. Which converted them.

Masha'Allah. One message don't let shaytaan divide us. May we be a successful generation because the Islamophobia going worse and oppression and bias news on Muslim and media. Human are sinners so, 'blame me not my religion' Btw brothers and sisters in Islam, no that there's no sunni and Shia mention in the Quran contrary to Muslims, that is, we follow Deen e Islam,and were are all Muslims. We follow Allah's words: Quran and Prophet Muhammad (Saw) : Hadith. Next time some one ask you about your aqueedah tel him or her u follow Quran and Hadith and u a Muslim. That's all. I have a question. Near the end, you say that all the good your children do (along with prayer and reading the Quran) a portion of the sawab goes to the ancestors. Does that mean that hypothetically, if you are put in Hell, eventually, if you have children and they have children etc., you will be moved to Heaven?

I just saw your message and no one reply you. Actually it has 2 answers. If you are non muslim then you will get reward here in the world before you die. There is no reward for you for day of judgement. So it is a problem and need to worry and always punishment, May Allah guide you if you are a non muslim. Now if you are a muslim then you will get reward here or it could be there. If for some reason the muslim is in hell, then he will be for some time only and one day Insha Allah he will out from hell and will go to heaven. This is promise of Allah and Prophet Muhammad gives Guarantee to muslims. If you have any question let me know, i will be glad to help you.
