I totaly lost it when I heard the woman explain how her son had died. I cried my eyes out, cause I know this pain, as I have lost a Daughter and I still to this day feel so empty. I lost it when my Daughter passed, and even now 4 years later it kills me when I see her pictures or just even think of her. I thought the guy signing was awesome, I want to learn how to sign myself. Domestic violence is NEVER OK.

My dad was taking sign language classes, when I was a child. He taught me some of the signs. For example, when he wanted a cup of coffee, he'd make the sign for it.

I’ve seen people teach grand children sign language. My frievd is one of them. Her daughter didn’t realize what she was doing. She saw them sign to each other. She cried cause she was so impressed that she had done that. I never heard my frievd say but I’m hoping she tried to learn it to.

The "he sent me a message" part gets me, because that most likely meant the girl was fighting back for being hurt and he could've been about to do something much worse than oil if she didn't get out. I'm so glad the girl had such loyal friends to come to her rescue. As someone who didn't have those friends, thank you.

Losing a child is the worst experience a mother a can have. My big brother died from a scorpion sting. He was only 7 and playing outside when he was stung. We feel the pain this poor mother felt when she lost her boy. It is a terrible terrible feeling that no parent or sibling should ever experience. Judge Francesco is so compassionate and considerate. Thank you so much judge. You're one of the most wonderful human beings to have ever been born.

He was going to have brain surgery. How sick he must have been for a long time. Poor lady. I’m so glad he gave her help! I love this judge. He’s very nice. His mom raised a great son. His brother is there also and has offered to pay fines for people at times also. Good family!

Being a parent who has lost a child, my heart went out to this woman who, thankfully, came before Judge Caprio who is the most compassionate, caring, adjudicator anywhere. His heart welcomes people in and allows them to grieve in his presence while he supports and holds them up. God Bless this lady in her bereavement journey to find the strength to survive losing her son and give hope to others in loss that there is another day, for God's reason, for them without their child. God Bless Judge Caprio for his ability to put people at ease and to help their hearts with his. The world would be a better place if more people treated each other as he does.

I think too many people forget that the point of laws isn't supposed to be so we can box-tick human behaviour, it's so we can incentivise people to be good and not harmful to each other and society. Having some amount of mercy for people who made understandable mistakes, like everyone does from time to time, is absolutely necessary in a good and fair society. Reward the good, not just with a general lack of broken rules, but with human decency when they make a mistake. This judge knows what his job really is, and I applaud him

Sooooo…. I will TRY to keep this short 😬 I knew from 9th grade that I was going to be involved in the Criminal Justice System somehow, after taking a meteorology class and realizing I do not like science… and it wasn’t the right kind of challenge. Unfortunately God had other plans for me as I became physically disabled and was unable to fulfill my dream. I do have faith that it had to have happened for a reason… however I’m still trying to figure out what that is… 🤔😬😳 Anyhoo… along with my father it is people like you and Ziggy that inspired me… made me see that the criminal justice system can work and help people. I got a ticket for "lane splitting" when trying to get over to an off ramp and the cars wouldn't let me get over... I was trying to exit and get to the distant city hospital when they were amputating my grandson's leg due to cancer... the cop pulled me over and I told him what I was trying to do but he didn't care... I missed seeing my grandson before the surgery as I had promised him... I wish I had had a kind experience.... my grandson passed away 2 weeks after his 21st birthday

The sign language was great. Typically deaf people don't sign "no" or "yes" but instead would do what you and I do when indicating both silently by shaking our heads but when interpreting perhaps it fits logically as a translation. The "I love you" sign is the combination of the letters in fingerspelling - I - L - Y.
