I can’t really tell if my bird is flashing his eyes (because cockatiel eyes are really dark), but regurgitation should never be encouraged, in fact, try to discourage it as soon as you see them regurgitating. My cockatiel has regurgitated once (I’m not entirely sure why, he wasn’t at the age where cockatiels hit sexual maturity), has never done it again

My female budgie *Rihanna* jumped onto my hand and started eating and the male *Leo* started eating from side. I know, *Rihanna's* bite is still hurting, but I believe *"No pain, No gain".* *This feeling was different and emotional, by following you and your tips, I came here. He doesn't really preen my hair, but he attempts to preen my face whenever chance he gets, pulling out hairs and attempting to pull out my teenage acne (which just hurts but he doesn't need to know that, he thinks he's helping) I love him with all my heart.

we have 3 parrots one of wich is a Galah. (the other two are amazons and though they like to go on walks and sit on the couch near you they aren't as attention hungry as our Galah then again they are known for that) basically if either i or my mum walk out of the room (she likes me and my mother the most.. i have two brothers but she doesn't like them as much) she'll start calling to us. saying is that so? and kisses! if you stay away for too long she'll either start screeching or make a sound that i can only describe as a car alarm wich is basically a very quick cheep cheep cheep. and if she is along even longer and she is out she'll come looking for you

I have 2 budgies and I have been trying to have them perch on my finger with millet and I'm still having no luck, 8 months after getting them. I've tried all these helpful tips and they still seem to be afraid of hands. I barely put my had in their cage and they instantly avoid it. It's honestly frustrating. Investing so much time, and money into raising them for them to still be afraid. They do the eye pinning thing to me, even start singing and bobbing their heads. Even tail wagging when I feed them millet! But Im thinking where I got them from didn't treat them well at all. Ima still keep on trying though. I love my two budgies.

i have a pet quaker named bobby and she turns 1 year old on july 4th. as small as she is, she knows a ton of words already! when i pick her up, she starts talking in my hand and it's the most precious thing ever. i think she's chosen me as her mate because she inhibits all of these behaviors towards me. one time she put food near my lips when i was kissing her beak. having a bird is truly amazing, watching these creatures grow with you is just wow. whenever she gets aggressive through hormones, i just lock her in prison (what i call her cage :P) for a little until she stops and everything goes back to normal.

I love it when my lorikeet shows he loves me. The only time I distract him to try get him to stop is when he tries to hump my foot lol. To me he is more then just a feathered friend, he is my feathered baby boy *but to him* I feel I am a mixture of mother and mate (he’s a bird he doesn’t know not to mix feelings of the two lol!!) I don’t encourage his “mate” behaviour but at the same time I don’t discourage it either (unless it’s humping). It is what it is and He is a happy healthy little dinosaur our bond is beyond words and we couldn’t be happier 🦖

Do make sure that your bird's tail wagging is just that, tail wagging. A lot of people seem to mistake mating with tail wagging, and if your bird is trying to mate with you, you have an issue. You don't want your bird to view you as a mate, because, while they'll love you, they will get hormonal which can cause problems I'm not even going to get into. They can also get sexually frustrated if they are hormonal and want to mate, but can't. Be careful to make sure it is _tail wagging_

Well maybe my bird is glitched… he is very friendly with me. He’s free flight tamed and used to fly around my house all the day… BUT sometimes he sits on my shoulder just to bite my ears… like i dont even touch or take him… he flies and lands on my shoulder, bites my ear and then again flies to its favourite place……
