300%?!? LOL Sorry, I couldn't resist. Multi-Shot for BM does such little damage, a 300% buff won't even move the damage meters. It's literally used as a trigger for Beast Cleave, which is why BM Hunters say Beast Cleave is essentially a two-point talent. They could buff it by 1000% and it would only boost BM's DPS by about 1%.

@@SargentD4 Prot Warrior is a tank. DPS is secondary to the ability to tank. Currently, the Prot Warrior I run with is doing decent ST, but more AoE than my BM Hunter. That's an issue. Also, BM's ST is odd. It relies on Basilisk Collar, which in turn relies on stacking DoTs. BM is not a DoT spec, but can stack about six DoTs if lined up perfectly. That's why most BM Hunters are mediocre at ST, but good BM Hunters are destroying the meters in tank and spank fights right now. Basilisk Collar is also why BM's AoE is worst than the tanks. Can't stack DoTs on packs of mobs, and the spec is balanced around doing so in ST. It's all being addressed in the .5 patch, but BM gets to suck until then. Really bad decision making on Blizzard's part to let a spec be this broken for the first half of a season.

They need to double or triple the drop rate for imperfect null stones. Null stones are required by so many profs for so many things, but the drop rate is so low that supply is nowhere even remotely close to demand, resulting in them being worth insane amounts. The price has gone from 4k to over 10k just the past week or two. The mining weekly this week called for two of them. That's just nonsense.

Each week as more miners max the ore mining nodes it allows nulls to be full and not imperfect. Therefore over time the supply should increase and prices should drop. It does seem that prices this expansion are staying much higher for longer than in DF.

Still nothing about hunter pets not being able to keep aggro in pve. Super frustrating when pulling multiple mobs and the pet only keeps partial aggro on 1 and if they're ranged/casters they'll still take shots or cast spells at me. When its a rare or elite it can't hold aggro at all and the mob will come straight for me.

B) it's not just hunter pets. my void buddy on my afflic lock could not hold aggro to save his life, he loses so fast that I've just switch to using the hound for interrupts. it's all pets, on all specs. they can't hold aggro for shit, which is one of the primary goals of the tankier pets when out in the open world.

Its really because the AE dps is so low, on a single target aggro isn't an issue. But our AE damage which mainly comes from beast cleave and kill command cleave which are both pet damage sources are so low its not keeping aggro. I believe its addressed as they address AE damage in general.

I really want to play my Prot Pala but having pushed to 2k io, it just feels so squishy and has been consistently ranked as the worst tank in TWW meaning some ‘meta chasing’ groups aren’t interested. My Guardian Druid feels much more stable but I find the play style boring. If I want to push rating though, I don’t see how I can stick with the Paladin. I hope these buffs help the Paladin. More armour - I’ll never say no to that. Less cooldown - so we have more holy power generation = more SOTR up time, more dps and more WoG. Is it enough to drag Prot Paladin out of D tier? I’m not sure

This video only covered about 1/4 of the changes happening to prot pally on the PTR. That buff listed in the video is actually not a buff at all, it's actually just making a talent (I think seal of command but I'm not in game right now) baseline. So it's taking a capstone talent that literally everyone took, and making it baseline. This would be good, but they didn't really replace it with any good new talents. The real change is they've added a talent and/or changed a talent that lowers the CD on lay on hands, and then also gives a 50% damage reduction that last 30 seconds(!!) after you use LoH. So, you'll be using LoH on CD (which should be about every 2 mins) on yourself for the damage reduction buff. Now - this buff duration seems drastic to me as you'll basically be invulnerable during that window. Then you can bubble after the LoH DR buff falls and you're 38 seconds of basically being unkillable to physical damage (and can place spellwarding on yourself for spells). Then you play your normal defensives while bubble and LoH cooldown. Might they change the LoH buff duration - I think so. 15-20 seconds seems more appropriate but 30 is good considering LoH intended use (healing target to full) is basically wasted. Additionally it's pulling utility away, which in my opinion makes prot paladin the most fun tank to play. Blizzard is hell-bent on taking utility away from prot paladin it seems. You will also lose the haste talents from your tree, so just a straight 4% haste nerf. I also believe they nerfed divine toll and made it 60 seconds instead of 45 seconds. Because, you know, the best parts of paladin, throwing our sheilds around, and "fun detected". They even have hero talents and tier sets - none of which play around shield throwing, because that would be too much fun. But I digress....

To be fair, no one is thinking that's a good idea. The market is its own thing, Blizzard can manipulate it but it adapts, just like they do in real life. They're not giving 80,000 gold orders, the items in them just happen to cost that. What they have done is quite significantly buffed the amount of orders that should be providing more mats.

For Rogues.....The glyph that takes on the appearance of a mob when you pick pocket them...that should allow Rogues to blend in with the enemy and not aggro them at all until the disguise is removed. It would make the glyph so more useful.

Personaly i have reached the limit of what a season provides for casual players. I have 3 characters around 610 and 610 is like the "softcap". Now its a slow process of getting to 619 with weekly vault rewards and 2 runed crests per tier 8 delve run and it taking 15 runed crests for upgrading a single item by 3 levels between 610 and 619.

They buff and nerf off of data, players consider what they believe should be buffed and nerfed based on what they personally are experiencing. It's for that reason that people who are really bad can think something is weak but pro players may be absolutely OP with it. In the same way, a pro may be capped out from a skill ceiling where a lesser player may be elevated beyond what they could otherwise do. If the numbers show they're overtuned, they're clearly overtuned. Apparently, it wasn't by much, considering the nerfs were very minimal; certainly not enough to stop playing it.

It’s because the devs play the op specs not getting nerfed, I heard the old ceo of blizzard hated shadow priests with a passion, and it makes sense with how oftenthey get nerfed so hard they’re only playable in the highest end content that 99% of players don’t even do

I don't even mind forking over a couple thousand gold for a knowledge point or two, that's fine. The thing that makes crafting orders awful rather than great is that we can't use materials from the warband bank. It makes no sense at all and is really annoying.

The only patron orders that seem to be reasonable are for the professions that weren't really struggling. Nothing seems to have changed this week.

You know what pisses me off about crafting orders? The permanently, totally blank public orders page. Like nobody uses it. Because why would they? They just buy things on the auction house. Such a dumb system, crafting feels like a colossal waste of time and money.

quite convinced Blizzard doesn't understand what broken means. Fury is literally in the shitter now after the 15% 10% and 3% nerfs to their main abilities, let's reduce their target cap to 5. Meanwhile Demon hunter does near 10m aoe dps, frost dk does 7m, but we have an issue when a warrior does 3

as a returning player i really hate the increasing item levels as the bosses progress in raids. IT makes sense on one hand i can definitely get that but i feel like the ilvl should all be the same and maybe make the stuff from later bosses better with unique equip affects things like that.

Shadow definitly needs some love. Shadow crash. 3 expansion. And keeps bugging/ missing in every dungeon where there is stairs. The damage output is too low. The cooldown on silence is way too long.

If you are a big crafter, and do patron orders a lot, I highly suggest the addons No Mats: No Make and CraftSim. The first one shows you what materials the patron order wants on screen, and also at the auction house under said crafting tab. CraftSim will give you an idea of how cheaply you can make the item for the rank you want to make, as well as concentration costs, depending on the items you use.

I was hoping to use crafting orders to level up, so that I don’t feel like I’m making useless items. Turns out you need to level up first in order to meet the requirements of the crafting orders. By that time, there’s no need for crafting orders.

I feel they do actually need to make the new raid harder. By the time it comes out, our ilvls are already going to be really high and there won't be much loot needed from the it. Actually making it hard and giving HC guilds something to progress is the only way (imo) of making it something people want to keep going to.

I play prot in pvp, before the games even start people tell me to uninstall, its literally the red headed step child of the game. Last season of DF, nobody said sh** because prot pal nearly couldnt be killed, it was so much fun having 2-4 dps on you and cant kill you. Now Disc is the pvp tank, standing somewhere alone with 5 dps on them and never dying. I really really hate it right now. I am finding some success in regular BGs, but blitz is like off the charts not even viable.

Very good players are timing +12s with port pally. It's squishy but definitely not unplayable.

Prot pal has historically been underwhelming on s1. That said, its not nearly as bad now as it was in s1 DF imo. If you are folding like a wet noodle, maybe consider playing better. Seems like a skill issue to me.
