Signwriting single stroke free style

A demonstration video for those starting out in the Craft of traditional signwriting.
The key to attractive lettering is consistency, ie: stroke angle, stroke width. once this has been mastered, venture into personalising your freestyle by extending strokes, feed it some character and make it fun.

The paint running out of control on brush ferrule is driving, yes driving o driving me out of my mind. Now if its not what I think I saw then lord I be on my way.

ATVB i use round ferrule chisel tip brushes with pure Sable hair. size 7

For letters like B and R what is your reasoning for doing a half stroke then going over it again to complete it? Horrible wording I know... Example at 0:25

Travis B cheers for the question. in the video it appears that im writing the same stroke twice, in actial fact i'm simply "starting" my 2nd stroke into the 1st stroke... if that makes sense?

Travis B i construct the B wih 5 strokes and the R with 4.
