thatjohnald I don't get people who say this? Radio could do so much for her career. I see so many amazingly talented artists with very radio-friendly music that don't ever get played on the radio and end up tanking because of it. Sigrid's music is perfect for radio yet has such a fresh, unique sound and her voice is so distinct that it would widen the horizons for Top 40 radio. Sigrid may not need the radio but radio needs Sigrid and she deserves an expansion of her audience. She's too good to be swept under the radar.

I just came home, turned on the tv, watched a little of her performance and found myself rewinding the DVR. She's that commanding! Love her performance. Great stage presence. Love her clean look. As a side note both SIgrid and Aurora are Norwegian artists, they grew up in the same area and are now destined to make it big world wide. . I went to see her at concert at this Really Big concert in England called Latitude and she was AMAZING! She is now my favourite artist and she was just so kind and young! I honestly HATE swearing and all the other artists were and she was so aware that there were young children in the audience! She said in her performance that this song was dedicated to all the young people out in our world that are constantly being told what to do! And that is SO SWEET! I love her soO much and DEFINITELY recommend u to check out her music!

Ellie Vegan I'm so happy that the world finally is starting to see that. Lately, I have barely listened to other artists than Norwegian artists or other artists with European nationality, cause we have *SO MUCH GOOD MUSIC here*. From Highasakite to Kvelertak, from Karpe Diem to Astrid S, From Hkeem & Temur to Matilda. And then there's Kygo and all his DJ-colleages and Aurora and Emilie Nicholas and ARY etc. etc. etc. to name a few. One of my favorite artists at the moment is the Faroese artist Eivør. She kind of has her own genre, and makes songs that's more pop/rock and other songs that's more folk/traditional. And her lyrics are beautiful. Since Faroese isn't VERY far from Norwegian, I can actually understand most of it. I recommend the songs Silvitni, Í Tokuni, Brotin and Trøllabundin. You should check her out!
