The most beautiful piece of music ever written, Sigur Ros are so talented, they evoke such strong emotions with their music. Adore this track so much, watch it on Heima dvd, it will blow you away. Turn the volume up loud.

I can't put my fingur on wether I love this song or not... I am absolutely in awe at the beauty of it, and at the true artists who made this piece. But for some reason, this song brings my mood down and I become melancholic.

My favourite sigur ros piece of music, possibly my number 1 favourite. Its just epic, and the ending is incredible how the whole thing builds up to it. A masterpiece.

Saw them play this live at the Lowry a few years ago. Never before have I found live music to be so emotionally engaging, devastating and overwhelming. I cried my eyes out, I can't describe how I felt. Such a beautiful show from such a beautiful band. Every time I listen to this song now, I get chills :)

Man do I love this song, along with Untitled 3, 4, and 7. These are the best songs recorded by Sigur Ros and are some of the best in modern music, in my opinion.

the first time I listened to this song I thought it was going to end up like the other tracks but starting at 6:12 everything just started going downhill. such an emotional rollercoaster. the final 4 min. was the best listening experience I had ever had in my life. I give to you the most epic way to cap off an album...

I remember the first time when I heard this. It was winter and I just got the album, and I came in and played it. I was supposed to just listen how the album begins, but then I noticed that album ended, and that I had sit in the dark and listen it all. And this song was the one that had strongest effect. And now still everytime I hear this, shiver goes throught my body, and feel like this touches my soul or something. Strangely powerful. Maybe its northen melancholy, what I understand too well.

it is also a great one. it's just that i stumbled upon this song out of the blue and so i listened to it a lot more before i listened to their other stuff...

The last part where it all goes nuts is by far the best part of the song. The whole ( )'s album is fantastic. There are stand out tracks definatly (for me it's 1,3,4 and 8), but the whole album is worth listening to.

This song to me is: The first half is about the beauty of nature, our home our fascinating planet. The second half, is the scary part, where we destroy our planet, with wars, nuclear power, and climate change which is 100% our fault. Lets enjoy nature, where we can breath peacefully!

I picture a rotting world, an America covered in ashes and dust, with vagabonds roaming the earth, and right at 6:07, all of the people that society discredited and disregarded are lifted up from the ground and take flight above the desolate land. At least, that's what I imagine. I can't think of any other band that can, without words, conjure up that powerful of an image. Long live Sigur Ros.

Well fellow humans, things are the way they are... Don't try to think that you can change things. It takes people to be responsible, mature, and respectful to make a peaceful world. Also the ability to compromise and reflect on others opinions and thoughts. Quit dreaming about a fantasy world and think reality, that is all we have.
