The chair is pretty simple to put together, there is a chart in the box showing how to put it together and a video on KZbin also showing how to assemble the chair.

On either chair the armrest is adjustable up or down and in and out to some degree, the lumbar also adjusts up or down for your comfort. You should know the lumbar support is not removable. If you feel that is a problem, I advise not buying this chair. I happen to feel comfortable with it on my lower back!
