Killer Steve! I have a blacked out 2020 RG/SPC with Factory 47's and I thought was the #&^#, I don't like the new HD stock bike looks but the ST with changes like the Kraus Tbars make it look like a race car!!

Hey ryan...I would more than happy too if I can get one in here that wants t bars...t bars are mainly installed on RG's so its difficult to find one. But as soon as I get one ill be sure to do video.
@TheCherrybomb994 күн бұрын
So I ordered the same kit with the 10” riserswhen I try to run the gauge relocation behind the bars like you did it doesn’t fit causing it to hit the top of the gas tank or the bars. How did you achieve this?
@timkinstler73605 ай бұрын
Great video Steve. Do you have a video of why one would chose the T bar setup over ape hangers? I am curious of the differences besides the obvious overall look.
@sikbaggers5 ай бұрын
I dont have a video on it but really it all comes down to looks...it all stemmed from the performance bagger world of racing these big ole bikes....but for everyday riding...its really just a looks thing...the only problem is the price is probably close to triple to do this set up versus a standard ape set, which kinda sucks
@CrimePays3213 ай бұрын
Steve I saw you extended the Speedo harness. Did you need to extend the switch housing harness to get it all cleanly tucked behind the headlight area? Excellent video.
@sikbaggers3 ай бұрын
No you dont have to extend those, the clips will still be on the outside thats why i wrapped them in the tessa tape so you dont see it.

Great video, would you have a comparison video down the road on the pros and cons of the Kraus setup? Being in the market for one can’t decide which brand to buy Kraus, Thrashin or even rebuffini !
@sikbaggers5 ай бұрын
well all of those are all good set ups...im getting ready to shoot a video on a cheaper alternative from a very reputible company ...the issue with most of these style bar set ups is the price...for instance this set up was close to 3500 ...shoowee! Thats expensive!! ...the one im getting ready to do gets you basically the same look at more around 1000 bucks. For your question though, really just pick the one you like where the gauges are...because the rest is all pretty much the same.

Sorry for the late reply...been at Tail Of The Dragon for a week. they will normally charge you a minimum of half hour labor to flash it. 50 to 60 bucks depending on what your local hd charges.

Great video bud. One question about the ignition switch you had removed. Is there a certain position to put it in so you can ride it to Harley to get the flash you mentioned? Or is this something you do prior to changing it out?
@sikbaggers5 ай бұрын
Thak you...you really should have this done before you pull the switch itself. It only takes them about 5 minutes to flash it over ot the switch. than you dont have to worry about anything when you are removing it.

@pomztoybox68775 ай бұрын
Great video as always, you are definitely the go to channel for all things bagger! Just not impressed with this product in any way. Completely obscures the dash and having the gauges just dangling off the bars like a pancaked ball sack makes even less design/functional sense. NOT a good product for the RG at all. It detracts from form & function rather than adding to it. Again, you are the man! The product just sucks🤮
@sikbaggers5 ай бұрын
Thank you ! Yeah I understand it not for everyone...I thought the design was pretty innovative compare to the ones mounted on top that blocks everything on the dash..with them hanging down like a ballsack (LMAO) I can sit on the bike at least see my other gauges and the radio...very limited to where you can put them...just trying to show everyone options that are out there.
