Aarti in other channels have been changed so much and I spent all evening looking for the original Aarti that we used to do in Gurudawara sahib and at home. Wonderful & Peaceful. Lot of folks don't know about the bhakti movement which started 7 century CE. Ravidas, Ramananda were gurus from that movement. Sant Kabir was student of Ramananda and this movement was all about looking inside and finding a deeper meaning of oneself and finding true god with bhakti and prayer. Our entire indian culture is one if someone has knowledge of indian history and this was source of inspiration of sufis too...Punjab is no longer the same punjab it use to be...I hope people understand the deeper meaning and appreciate culture as a whole...Gurbani developed over time and influencers were these Sanatan Dharm saints

Go means cow and pal means to look after/ protect. Thus Gopal means one who looks after or protects cows. And that’s why Gopal is a name given by devotees/ bhagats to LORD KRISHNA as he was a cow herd.

This is the best aarti I have heard and tbh I hardly know Punjabi but I don't even care because it is soothing to the mind, I have never been brought up as a full Sikh however I wanted to but now its too late but I am still trying my best to connect to naam and waheguru, and trust me, if you belief he WILL HELP!! Guru ji has scarified all their family to save a other religion and he never told how should they worship. irrespective of their beliefs guru ji scarified his whole family for other religion. Shyam ji...Many names.Prabh ek hi..God is Love!..Many are going to say Sikhs don't this and that but a true Sikh is a servant and sevak of humanity. There is no difference between Shiva and masters such as Swami Ramananda, Bhagat Kabir ji...They are One...so is Krishna..All self realized people who knew they were embodiment of God themselves...Call Him Narayan, Shiva, ParamBrahman..and this Sikh bows to your love for Him. All is One!

Mr.b Gurbani is very clear,,,Guru and Creator is same. Gur permeshwar eko jaano,,,,,,,so many verses in Gurbani clearing the fact of no difference between Guru and God. Hindu phylosophy says same " every thing is manifestation of God only. Believe so and see HIM in any form you wish" A Sikh (Guru's disciple) sees HIM in GURU. Finally there is no difference whether we believe in Guru or Krishna,,,though,,,even Gita says,,,there cannot be any other way, but Guru.

Jad Dhyaan nahi kita te samajh kithhon aauni hai. Ok..At last you discussed so here are my humble 2 cents for you (and same is applicable to me as well). Our Gurus were enlightened - Part number one - Pooran SatGurus are Light themselves - There is no difference between Guru and God.They preach the message in a different way as normal people won't understand that physical form is just a medium and keep equating Guru to Form - whereas SatGuru is beyond form - for me Guru Nanak still lives. He is just merged with Consciousness and is not in physical form. Part number two - The whole Idea behind Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji is not that you can translate it. The idea is to give you the experiences of enlightened souls. Even this Shabad (Kat Jayiye re ghar lago rang) is by Swami Ramanand ji (Guru of Sant Kabir ji) and included in Bani. When Baba Nanak did not differentiate and did not say Swami Ramanand is a Hindu etc., who are we to differentiate. And who are we to translate Shri Guru Ganth Sahib ji? Let me give you, myself and this world a FACT - Only an Enlightened One (A Buddha) has the real ability to understand an Enlightened ones Experience. The only reason these experiences are listed is that you try to experience the same. And there is only one way to Experience - Meditation. There are many techniques in modern times - Sing and immerse yourself in singing -Singing becomes a meditation (Mere Pyaare Baba Nanak ne Ga ga ke hi paa leya)..Dance and Dance so totally that Dancing becomes a meditation (Meera Bai ji ne nach nach ke paa leya, Bulle shah - Mainu Nach ke yaar manaawan de), and then there are other techniques as well. As far as today's Sikhism is Concened - Baba Nanak aj aaunde te aah nahi kehnde - Na main Hindu na Musalmaan...Aj aaunde te Kehnde - Na Main Hindu, Na MusalMaan, Na Sikh. All Gurus are beyond religions (irrespective of the religion they started in). All humanity is beyond religion. There is only one religion - Sarbat Da Bhala. Amrit nu Zeher banaun di kalaa hai Manukh kol. Saade Guru Amrit deke gaye (Amrit - Jehda Mare na) te appan usse Amrit nu Zeher bana chhadeya.

So encouraging. True to the Guru Granth Sahib and the philosophy of one creator. Such a shame and total disrespect to Guru Granth Sahib that You tube and the publishers have saught to gain financially by adding useless Advertisements. And now the ads appear every three minutes even in the middle of the sahib with some lasting as long as 6 minutes without the ability to skip them like the add for the KIA car. One thing for sure I will never buy a KIA car and tell all my sikh friends never to buy a KIA car because of their disrespect to the Guru Granth Sahib with 6 minutes adds displayed every 3 minutes without being able to skip the add just to profit from the true meaning of being a seikh.
