I believe Kali from the Philippines may be similar or closest from what videos I have watched so far. I am not speaking from experience but from what KZbin videos I have watched so far. I respect Silat martial arts and after watching multiple videos from well known Gurus and discovering yours.... I have fallen in love with it! I believe it is such a practical and BADASS martial Arts compared to the REST. Please do a DOUBLE KNIFE DEMONSTRATION that would be so cool to watch. Definitely Subscribed! BTW you have a TRUE Silat GURU form. RESPECT 🙏

Great demo placing emphasis on drill and progression... What I find interesting in Silat is empty hand to weapons versus FMA going from weapons to empty hand. Good stuff 💯

So awesome! I am unwinding after a week of teaching and training, and this is the first video I watched after a few whiskeys with my students and training partners. My filters are gone. It is drills like this that made me fall in love with south East Asian martial arts! Fucking awesome!! Especially the snap cut to the hand that idiots will tell you “that won’t work!” Fuck I hate those guys… this is beautiful. I would like to add this to my flow drills. Absolutely beautiful.
