This video is a perfect refutation for the trolls who say these guys would lose to an mma fighter no rules. Fast combos finish my opponent in the third or fourth strike in a three or four hit combo the engagement (fight) is over. Excellent and impressive show of 'techniques' how fast the one trained in SSBD can take another's life bare hand. That's what SSBD in this video is demonstrating, they can take hard hits and still deliver swiftly max damage on the opponent every hit just waiting for the right second to end the fight at their leisure. What's your mindset?

@de05093 жыл бұрын
With enough adrenaline, its probably possible. Ive been punched in the face in multiple cases of misunderstandings. Its the mentality and courage probably. But limiting options of an attacker is a great option. Personally if unsure I believe the peekaboo guard is awesome because it guards the important parts such as the throat and the chin. This one time some dude punched me in the forehead and his hands got hurt. He picked the worst place to hit my face. Some people dont understand that punching is bad for knuckles especially without gloves

What is the definition of Silat?
@alyahamzah36057 жыл бұрын
Bodyboarding Today as a malay, when some1 says silat, i understand that as movements one makes to defend one's self. In southeast asia, silat is a form of martial art originating from this region. In the olden days, in the villages, each boy learns basic silat movements for self defence.

Richard Harrow this guy trains for the street not MMA do not compare this guy to Any Sports fighter most mma fighters will shit on themselves if they had a knife on them
@TheLockon007 жыл бұрын
If weapons are going to be in play, then I'm pretty sure UFC fighter Tim Kennedy would kill Maul with a sniper rifle. And I like Maul quite a lot. I learn from his videos, and I like Silat. I imagine he'd beat the hell out of most people, with or without a weapon. But if you think he'd be able to take a competent MMA fighter in a hand-to-hand fight then you're delusional. You obviously haven't trained in the arts your criticizing. I have trained Silat and FMA for several years, and that cements my opinion here.
@nightwolf_hauka18337 жыл бұрын
Richard Harrow but it depends on the person im also a silat fighter and do muay thai for long time and any high class ufc fighter can be killed by a highly conditioned muay thai fighter from. Thailand and im saying if there hand to hand combat involved with knifes and all of that a ufe fighter can bbe killed by one of a professional silat guro
@TheLockon007 жыл бұрын
But it's kind of pointless to mention the knife stuff. If Maul uses a knife against an unarmed UFC guy, what does that show? An untrained person with a knife could kill an unarmed UFC fighter, and I hate to break it to you, but an untrained person with a knife could very feasibly kill Maul. And like I said, Tim Kennedy would kill Maul with a sniper rifle. Or how about Keanu Reeves? He does competitive tactical shooting. That's why he looks so good in the John Wick films. He would kill Maul and a UFC fighter if he got his pistol. This is why being nerdy about your kit is fucking lame. Also, a UFC fighter (assuming said UFC fighter isn't an accomplished former kick-boxing fighter like Darren Till, Donald Cerrone, Mirko Cro-Cop, Melvin Manhoef, Semmy Schilt, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, etc.) would lose to a good Thai fighter in a kick-boxing match, and a Thai fighter would lose to the UFC guy in an MMA match. If you're suggesting the Thai would beat the UFC guy in an MMA or no-rules fight, then you're daft.
Batman uses this style when he wants to be very, very mean.

@rockmcdwayne17108 жыл бұрын
The fighting style is clearly designed to maim and/or kill ppl in real combat scenario so being able to take some punches would be useful dont you think? Usually in real fight if you go against oponent with similar skill level of combat than your own you will take some punches....its sort of unavoidable not to mention when you go solo against many...going down after 1 unblocked hit is not healthy so better be prepared to take a few.
