2019 B.Tech pass out from NIT Silchar here. I've left the town but this place hasn't left me. I still yearn to go back to the place, still sometimes shed a tear or two reminiscing everything, which is why I searched for "Silchar vlog" today, not expecting that someone has really covered it. And the same ahom was defeated several times by the dimasa kacharis and it took them 40 years to defeat the dimasa kacharis and that too by using unfair means.The dimasa kacharis are forbidden from killing cows as they believed it to be unholy, the ahoms knew about it and they came to war riding on cows.The kacharis having no other option had to surrender and the royals were murdered and that's how the ahoms won over dimapur.

Please show us it's streets, like college road, Ambicapaty, shillongpaty, Premtola, arnapurna ghat, also the popular garment shop like nahata tex, Devdoot, that popular market Elora, than also those special polao wala thela right next to SBI tarapur. And not to mention Jhalupara. And NIT area, Assam University, Medical.... Make entire video just on streets and how it feels to walk on them. With your friends and loved one. I miss silchar so so much. 😞

Thank you for showing our Dimasa Kachari (Hidimba) Kingdom. And, the kingdom was formed before the 11th century, King Meghabalnarayana shifted the capital from Koundilyanagara to Dimapur in 1070 AD. The Kacharis before forming Kamatapur, Chutiya and Kachari Kingdom, they were unified under Kamarupa Kingdom; the Kacharis are the Kamrupi people.

Polo was origin in manipur During the time of king Polo was known as "sagol kangjei" in manipuri language...when british came in manipur they saw manipuris people playing sagol kangjei they liked the game then form the first polo club in cachar...The oldest polo ground is in imphal,Manipur where people play during the king time...the ground is still there
