If you enjoyed the insanity of the AI, you'll like his invasion series. They are also long, but I think they are much more jam packed with whacky weirdness because he doesn't have to force the AI to stick so rigidly to a set of parameters the way the pajama sam game does. It is absolute madness and siliness. There is also his AI tournament to find the strongest video game character, which is shorter and also has fun AI nonsense.

Sadly, DougDoug's speedrun entry has since been rescinded. I think the main offender was Doug tabbing away from the game (to work on his code) which is against the rules.

the doug vs chat invasion series is great. I personally like the solar system one but theyre all good. Another great one is the peggle speedrun with the ai giving him trivia questions.

usually he does the recap by text in the code but doing it by voice is the same with extra steps, also he does ask the ai to do insert chains of vowels here and there to hear what noices the ai voice can make

Dougdoug's "speedrun" got removed from the site not long after, the main reasoning being (there was of course more pointed out than just this but I don't remember which of Doug's videos he explains it in) was that he was clicking out of the game multiple times throughout his run lol. 😂

"Wait dumbwaiters are for food? really?" you're making me feel so old :/ Dumb waiters were used to send food up to higher stories in tall buildings, especially if the kitchen was in the basement and someone ordered a midnight snack from the servants to be sent up to the bedrooms. walking up stairs takes a long time and stairwells were often exposed to the outdoors, so the idea was, using a dumbwaiter meant the food would still be hot. ofc they are for food, they are literally called dumbwaiters because they bring you your food like a waiter but they don't have a brain so they're dumb

@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 omg this never occurred to me, but you're right... almost every time i've seen a dumbwaiter used in any kind of popular media, it's because a mistress or a killer or a heist-member was using them to infiltrate a building hmm i guess i'm okay adding dumbwaiters to that weird list of stuff... something that remained in the public consciousness, but in a vastly distorted manner rather than its original meaning... i remember that viral tweet of the girl who said her dad was so nerdy and cringey because he had a bunch of novelty toy "save icons" in his desk, she didn't know what a floppy disk was. it's a bit like that. someday we'll see a tweet from a gen alpha and they'll be like "omg i was at this fancy hotel and they actually sent me my meal through the mistress-chute-thing! super creepy!"
