Silence & Seat wouldn't get back to me on the cost of replacing the battery, something I wanted to know BEFORE I spent 5k. Not one reply despite multiple attempts so I gave the sale to Honda. A shame as I'd prefer to be greener but the fact they don't talk about the battery cost, in fact not just "don't" they won't it appears. I'm so sick of being lied to by the corporate world, so good one guys lol.

Battery costs are often 50% of the cost of the bike so you're looking at £2-£3k. Remember that the price should come down in the life of a battery (6 years) and/or the capacity should go up.

@@GreenMopeds I really would like one too so will have to wait a few years now. Shame really cause if I knew the replacements were easily available & roughly how much to budget for it I would have been more than happy to jump aboard. Silver lining I suppose is that now I have a scooter I can maybe save up for something ridiculously fun like a zero or something!
